While on keto? You don't gain water weight. You LOSE water weight in the first week or so in keto. You have to drink 2-3 L of water everyday to flush the ketones out of your kidneys. Also, if you don't drink enough liquids, I've read people have gotten gallstones or gout.

Keto was the best thing for me. I highly recommend it! Basically, you have to change your mindset on carbs. Carbs = sugar. If you eat carbs, it will be stored longer in your body.
