Hopefully this thread is inspiring you then. Btw - You don't need to be defensive when you put something out there for people to give opinions on. Especially if it's something you realize you need/want to change about yourself. Maybe I'm misinterpreting your tone. /shrug

This made me think of this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAYL5H46QnQ

Why should you let other people's feelings affect your goals? They aren't you. At the end of the day, all this guilt will have you making a post on MFP about it and they won't even remember you ate the candy.
-
Assume you weigh once a week. Figure out your total cals burned/deficit for the week. Adjust for the extra cals you ate on your "cheat" day. Now you'll know (roughly) how much loss was altered by that day.

OP deactivated. Probably due to too many friend requests.

I really don't get the peer pressure with food thing. Maybe it's because I'm not that social? What's the worst that will happen if you said "no"? They fight you? Food isn't meant to be a tool to inflict guilt, it's meant to sustain you. If you want to enjoy whatever social event you're at with a piece of candy, do it. If…

Just another gimmicky, fad diet "tool" imo.

Slowly gaining self-confidence is reward in itself to me.

Stopped reading at Bone Thugs and Harmony. :(

I'm surprised RO is still going... even on private servers. o_O I do enjoy listening to the game music still (mostly the classic stuff as I haven't played in ages).

It happens. Fat disappears as it sees fit from wherever it wants. I've noticed this in many of the success stories that have the before/during/after/progress pics and whatnot.

I do this too with the whey, except I use almond milk and PB2 as substitutions as well.

FFXIV beta all day today. :D

If at the end of your day you're still within range of your calorie goal, then yes.
-
I have a feeling this is -definitely- your problem. Not "might be." Check this thread out. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/937709-in-place-of-a-road-map-ver-3-0

Seems like an easy fix. Delete those that don't fit what you need. Btw, your goals shouldn't be dependent on 200+ people anyway.

Exactly. TDEE includes an estimate of your daily activity/exercise in the figure and accommodates an allowance to come close to the method of what MFP expects you to net. So, if you use TDEE- x%, you either log exercise on mfp is 1 cal or log it normally, but make sure you end your day being under by the exercise amount…

Do you exercise? If so, you're supposed to be eating more than the 1700 MFP starts you at because they assume you eat back those cals. What are you eating on workout days using MFP's guidelines?
-
For your food overhaul, I'd say check out some recipes that you might like and buy enough to make portions to last several days. Buy things that make food making simple and easy. For instance, I have eggs with some kind of cheese, fruit and vegetable each day (can check my diary). I can always add or modify from there, but…

Did you know every person is different? You didn't? Well, now you know. ;)
-
Personally, I don't see myself being any different. I feel different in how I move around and whatnot, but I look like nothing's changed to myself.

There are tons of success stories in the ...success forums. Check them out. :)

Gaining weight doesn't have much to do with eating fast or too much in one sitting, rather it's about eating more calories than your body burns. Also, you never knew about hiccups on a full stomach? >_>
-
OP makes dramatic post. Admits to enjoying other peoples' drama. Weird....
-
Youtube clips of both and see which one looks more fun? You might be able to assess which gives more burn. Maybe not.
-
I use some butter, cilantro and lime juice.

Go ahead. No issues.
