you never know. maintaing is definitely harder than losing weight, because you'll have to experiment. that's definitely a good number to start with though. do that for a week, and then add/subtract 100 calories until you find that you are truly maintaining. you might be surprised, it tends to be higher than people think it…

not bad at all! protein is awesome for weight loss. just don't go over 1g per lb of your weight. example, if you weigh 100 lbs, don't get more than 100g.

i've heard that ginger tea with a bit of milk and honey works wonders on cramps.
-
the main trend i'm noticing is waaaay too much fast food.

oh my gosh ME. i watch I Used To Be Fat on MTV while i workout :P and i'm really excited, i saw a commercial on the CW tonight for a new show "Shedding for the Wedding." my two favorite things in one show: weddings and weight loss motivation. brilliant!

"Only thin people have eating disorders right?" WRONG. such a huge misconception. an eating disorder is only part physical, the other part very much mental. but the best way to get to your calories without feeling overly full is a good amount of protein. peanut butter, nuts, protein bars, protein shakes... they're healthy,…

i used to eat probably 2000 calories a day, but now that i'm eating healthy i actually find myself striving to meet 1500. and i eat A TON. i eat every two hours, and i still have to have a pretty big snack before i go to bed. but really, look at my diary. i eat a ridiculous amount of food.

you should weigh yourself first thing in the morning, with no clothes, right after you've used the bathroom, before you've eaten anything. this allows you to see what YOU weigh, not you plus the food you've eaten and the water you've drank.

you definitely need more calories even though you're full. go for something high calorie, like nuts or a protein bar :]
-
go go go! those pounds aren't going anywhere on their own!
-
if you're constantly feeling hungry on 1290 calories a day, maybe you should consider increasing your calorie intake just a bit. being hungry all the time isn't going to help you lose weight! my favorite go to recipe is a pizza made with cauliflower crust. it's the perfect size for two people, and half of it is only 400…

i personally don't use it, but i follow a blog run by a girl who does the exercises religiously... they seem to have worked really well for her! http://chelseaalysse.tumblr.com/post/2894908436 of course she's also been eating really healthily, but still.

you should eat at least half of the calories you exercised off. ideally you should eat all of them :]
-
i use an air popper and i LOVE it. definitely worth the buy. i've had mine for two weeks and i've already got my money's worth out of it :]
-
it definitely exists. when i was at my lowest weight, if i ate more than an apple and a salad in a day, i'd gain weight. now i'm eating 1500 calories a day and maintaining.

when people cut out carbs, they're really just looking for a quick fix. i've watched several people around me go on the low-carb diets, and sure, they lose weight, but it all comes right back. it's not an ideal way to lose weight at all, especially since you do need carbs. the reason people like the no carb diet is because…

my favorite breakfast is so simple: apple, two hard boiled eggs, and a piece of whole wheat bread with a slice of cheese :] or if you have a bit more time than just something to grab and go, scramble two eggs (with just a tiny bit of milk) and mix in three pieces of ham. lots of protein to get you going!
-
eat at least half. eating all of them won't hurt you though.
-
i would always go with the lower reading, just to be safe.
-
that's awesome! if you spread out your exercise throughout the day, it'll get your metabolism going a bit more. just make sure that you're eating at least half of the calories that you're burning through exercise!
-
http://findingthinagain.tumblr.com/recipes the first recipe on this page is an awesome protein fruit smoothie :]
-
tofu and fish have become my favorites :] along with chicken, haha.

i personally just walk as much as i can, and i know what choices around campus are smart and healthy. also, my school has the nutritional content for the major food courts listed online, so that's really helpful.

business/accounting :] with a minor in french.
-
i'm a student, feel free to add me :]
-
i always get veggie fajitas with corn tortillas
-
i always get beef and broccoli, eat the whole thing, and don't eat the rice :] your plan sounds fine, you definitely have enough calories left!
-
you should aim to eat at least half of your exercise calories :] and it seems far away, but remember that it's worth it!
-
you've done so well! keep it up. remember, this isn't a temporary diet, it's a lifestyle :]
