haha see generally I eat pretty well and love my fruit and veg... I don't like KFC and what not. But SUPER CHOCOLATEY CAKE and white chocolate and croissants etc.. Those get me going. haha Yeah I guess I have to 'wean' myself out of it but that kind of defeats the purpose of a cheat 'day'!

Try hit your calorie goal, I know people think 'eat less weigh less' but calories are FUEL. If you're doing workouts you need to hit it! It's already factored in weight loss. Your body doesn't stop metabolizing just because it's late / asleep. :)

I get "you need fattening up!" from my boyfriends family whenever I'm over for dinner and refuse seconds. I love his family but arghhhh don't pressure me into eating food I don't want!

I'm 21. 5'7" and on my last 5lb!! However my journey won't stop once I hit that, I'm more focused on looking good than the number so a lot of toning up to go! Keen to connect with others in a similar situation. :)

OP I don't see any snacks or basics like bread, milk, general fruit etc in there? Are they included in your monthly budget?

I feel you on this. And all you can do is encourage activity! Or maybe mention more how happy you are with the effort YOU have put into YOUR body and the results? And how you notice he's impressed by it? I don't know it might convey to him how that could be his situation if he got off the couch :smile:

Sorry if someone has already said this; but I find having a VERY substantial breakfast helps me a lot! What's the saying? Eat like a king at breakfast, a prince at lunch and a pauper at dinner? Something along those lines. ...With healthy snacks in between :wink:

There is a 'Frank Body Scrub' fad at the moment so thought I'd mention it. haha It's meant to get rid of stretch marks / cellulite. But no evidence of this I can find! This is why we take 5 X longer than men to try on clothes. ;) But YES to the difficult ordering online! It is the biggest hassle, and then you have to factor in height etc also.. Most clothes are made for girls of about 5'4". :\

Other than fruit and veg.. Rice cakes, flavoured tuna (and gum! haha), corn kernels, cashews, Le Rice (ADDICTED! not that good for you but a great source of tasty calcium), tea. Get's me through!

Cucumber! Hated it for as long as I remember but started making myself put it in salad.. Now I like it! I also put tomato on something BY CHOICE yesterday, but I will probably never eat it on its own. Other than those 2 I've always loved my fruit & veg.

I don't know if anyone has posted this.. But Lentil Shepherds Pie! Cook on the stove top: -Celery -Veggie stock -Tomato paste -Tomato passata (or can of tomatos) -Onion -Peas -Can of lentils And mashed potato on top if you're feeling it! ;) Then bake in the oven for a bit. I can be more precise if you need. haha

If anything I am more motivated at that time! But I don't experience the cramps, etc anymore that some women have mentioned. Although I do only have my period like twice a year, got to love the pill! ;)

How many reps / weight would you recommend for a starter like me? haha I always intend to use the bar but the choice is either to point my butt at all the meat heads doing weights, or at a mirror! Definitely a bad set up :\

My gym equipment doesn't actually have numbers on it.. But I think each setting is about a 5kg increase so only about 20kg and 2 sets of 30 on the leg press. With squats, lunges, etc as well. This is after about an hour between the bike and ellipticial on level 7-8 so my legs are a bit sore by then! I've been doing this…
