That sounds too high. Maybe your user profile is incorrect? 700 calories is more consistent. I use a Sportline watch with a chest strap. I bought it used off of Ebay dirt cheap, I can't afford a Polar. I have been happy with it and use a website calculator to double check the figures.

Becca, absolutely throw in some yoga and strength exercising. I do two sessions of Jillian Michaels 30DS on my off days, Levels ii & III. I also have her Yoga workout. Sometimes, I will go run for about 15 minutes then do the DVDs. If I were a member of a gym, I would certainly hit the weight machines. Good luck to you.

Sounds like you're a solid 3.0 player ready to move into the 3.5s. A whole new different ball game. I would certainly recommend some 3.5 clinics and play only with solid 3.5 players. I assume you are playing doubles. Thats great you're #1 in your division.
