did three miles today between the treadmill and the elliptical!

I'm in!

I'm in! I lost 40 pounds already from Turbofire - goal for April is to start running and do strength training.
-
you are fabulous, as always.

I'll enjoy my snack of greek yogurt and just imagine it's a fruit pie this afternoon...

"I didn't invent the turtleneck, Lana, but I was the first to recognize it's potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck. The tactle-neck."

I usually add honey, mango, and starfruit (using up tropical fruit I bought on sale at the grocery store), but some of these ideas sound really good too!!

this thread just made my night.

This week is turning into a rest WEEK for me...sick again yesterday, and I have three exams. I'm going to try to workout on study breaks but it's not looking good and that's driving me nuts! I hate not working out!
-
That's nuts! How am I supposed to lose weight doing silly things like that!?
-
I switched to almond milk and tea after realizing how much creamer I was putting in my coffee!

I did HIIT15 + Core 20 today. Stretch 40 bores me to tears so I avoid it at all costs and do some cardio instead.

Thank you for all of the advice ladies! I am going to start eating back more of my exercise calories, and once I'm back from my spring break trip (I leave FRIDAY to go to Florida!), I'm going to go see a registered dietician to get their take on my intake as well. I want to get a body media band but can't afford it yet -…
-
I guess my next question would then be is that your net intake is your TDEE -20% or your gross intake before exercise calories?
-
I love my FT7
-
Both of these! I'm at 145 right now, and a size 8-10 in pants, depending on the brand, size M in a lot of tops and dresses...It's hard to stop feeling fat. I'm also really addicted to losing weight. I've lost 40pounds and I feel healthier, but I just can't stop wanting to lose more.
-
I would stick to whole grains. Obviously if you're eating a big excess of calories in bread, then sure, like anything else, it'll be fattening. In moderation, though, it won't be.

I did Fire 55EZ today :) always feels good to get that workout in!

I drink extremely rarely since I started losing weight (lost 40+ pounds so far) - cut it out entirely for quite awhile. Factor your alcohol calories into your day so that they fit.
-
We're not eating frozen diet foods, at least I'm not. I eat 1500 calories a day, foods I prep myself, not pre-packaged. Simply stated, you're not eating enough to maintain normal bodily function. But then again, talking to people on this site about nutrition is like talking to brick walls most of the time. Good luck, just…

I use Turbofire too - love it! It's expensive, but it's been totally worth it for me!
-
This is a great post - thanks OP!

I'm currently on the second book - really addictive series! I want to read the books before I watch the tv show!

I agree that you should see a registered dietician - you seem to be on track to have an eating disorder. The goal of weight loss should be to be fit and healthy, not simply to lose weight. I saw one poster say she gained weight doing this, and that's a very likely outcome because the body realizes it's not getting enough…

I use a beachbody workout program that's worked wonders for me (Turbofire), but I prefer real food for reasons like the poster about. From a fellow scientist, this guy hit the scientific nail on the head. That said, if Shakeology works for you OP, awesome. Enjoy :)

I need to make some adjustments to my food >.< I've been eating really healthy, but for some reason, I've been hungry a lot. I'll get it figured out I suppose. I did Fire 45 again today. Definitely by the weekend I should be back to doing the strength workouts :) counting down the days until next Friday when I leave for…

I would keep your net intake at over 1000 - that's with exercise calories factored in, so you'll need to eat back some of your exercise calories. Your body needs nutrients to function properly, so don't let your net intake be too low. I also highly recommend an HRM - I'm so glad I bought mine so I can accurately track my…

It's likely water weight or that you're gaining muscle mass, which is the goal of lifting typically. You'll be losing fat and gaining muscle, so you will see the number on the scale go up.
