  • Had a BLT last night and honestly it wasn't that good. Used store brand bacon and it was WAY too salty. No way I can eat it again tonight. I do still have some lunch meat (ham and roast beef) so will likely just make a basic sandwich for dinner.

  • I can't drink coffee. For 1, I can't have caffeine. For 2, coffee is too acidic. Both would cause a flare on their own, much less together.
  • Already changed things up. I can tell that I will not want to cook tonight as my pain levels are high. So I am having a tomato sandwich for dinner. That moves the chicken, green beans, and rice to tomorrow night and the curry to next week (my meal plan weeks are Saturday to Friday).

  • Hi all. I was here awhile ago, but have recently started to look around the group again. I am not vegetarian or vegan, but I am trying to cut down on the amount of meat I eat. Which is why I loved this group before. You were always so welcoming even to those of us who have not given up the meat totally. So thank you.
  • I do something similar, but I sauté the spinach and then put on top of the chicken under the cheese.

  • I do like to mix it with scrambled eggs. Makes them super creamy and I don't notice a difference in texture or flavor.
  • Making taco bowls tonight. Seasoned ground beef, lettuce, black olives, salsa, pepper jack cheese, sour cream, and guac. Will have it with a serving of tortilla chips. May also add some beans. Not sure yet.
