Sigh. This has already been pointed out and responded to. I wasn't even saying for her to use the cups for anything related to this! Jesus people. [/quote]

bump, thank you!

? I know, but she doesn't have a scale and I am correcting what she said before.
-
Why? And you can pan fry chicken, I do this all the time and it tastes good!
-
I eat chicken breast all the time, I make things like stir fry, lemongrass chicken, masala chicken etc. Ethnic foods usually have more flavor from spices etc, not from cream and things like that so things aren't as high cal.

1 cup = 8 oz, not 4 or 5. But the best option (before you get a scale) would be to look up the calories in thigh meat (I'm sure there are options for the meat, no bone), figure that out for 10 thighs, add in however much BBQ sauce and onions you used, then divide that by however much you are eating (ie - 1/4 the entire…

What is the communication gap here? That is exactly my point, I also have an American passport - so if we were just talking nationality, I'd say American, OOF to you too. But we are NOT, we are talking about hyphenation, which, again, is Ethnicity-Nationality, so I say Indian-American.
-
Ok, so its semantics, and I disagree. When I hear "mutt" I think very mixed ethnicity/someone who isn't into the cultural aspects that make up all the various ethnicities they have in their background. So someone who is just one ethnicity is not a mutt by that definition (and someone with 2 is simply biracial, still not a…
-
See my post above, I am proud of my heritage and want the hyphenation. If others choose not to, thats fine too. The point is we are not all mutts.
-
I am aware, that is why I specified *white Americans*
-
Such as...myself?
-
I've seen this sentiment a few times in this thread - while white Americans may be all mutts, other Americans aren't, hence the hyphenation necessity for some.
-
Exactly this - I'm Indian-American and hyphenate because it does matter. I was born in India, have a lot of family there, speak the language, eat the food, listen to the music etc, I was raised in the culture, so it is a HUGE part of my life. On the other hand, I use the "American" part because I am am a very proud and…

If he hasn't asked for help, you don't need to help him, that is so patronizing. Leave him alone.

You gained 18oz??? Sorry but I am LMAO, you know you don't just gain fat overnight, right? And also that if you move a digital scale it isn't as accurate and needs to be reacalibrated? Basically what this boils down to is - chill out and enjoy your vacation.

I've been on the same ride! Not on MFP but in general yo-yoing and ending up heavier than ever. I started on MFP at 207 so I understand where you're coming from, add me :)
-
Arlington now, grew up in Va Beach! Everyone add me, I love having local friends :)
-
How have you been tracking things without measuring/weighing?
-
Short answer - at 1200 calories you are already at a big deficit, and should not go below 1200 net calories. The MFP calculation does not take exercise calories into account, therefore, eat your exercise cals back.
-
Like a lot of you have said, portion sizes! I was "eating healthy" for a while and wondering why I wasn't losing weight - well I was eating healthy food but like 3 times the amount I eat now! Even my green smoothies had a ton of calories :(. And wow portion sizes for nuts - I would eat handfuls of them! Now I count out 12…

Hourglass - it's about your shoulders v. Hips, which look about the same. Boobs don't really factor in
-
If you haven tried them on yet it's really too soon to get discouraged!
-
Are you talking about it all the time or giving unsolicited advice? That would make people think you are obsessive - I know several people like that. I am obsessive about it myself but no one knows that because I don't talk about it unless someone asks. MFP is great since I can get it all out here!
-
Totally an emotional eater here! When I'm sad and when I'm bored - trying to cut that out, when I'm sad I either go to the gym or try a new healthy recipe to occupy my time. Anyone can add me, just send me a message :)

Size charts are rarely exactly accurate, and jeans stretch, so I wouldn't think the half an inch would really make a difference. Also they do tend to vary immensely by brand so I would check out more brands.

You need a regular bra-sized one, with underwire. There is a great Natori one at Nordstrom, it's a knit one, thick band, when I had Gs they didn't budge. There are some Champion ones that have underwire too, a little cheaper than Natori

LOL not to nitpick, but implants are a piece of cake (money and pain-wise) compared to a reduction

The answer isn't no, it's yes. I have some kind of ice cream bar/Popsicle pretty much every day and I'm doing well so far!
