Yes its bad. And its not hard to get more calories in a healthy way - eat a few handfuls of nuts, an avocado, a few tbsp of peanut butter, cook in some olive or coconut old. Each of those things are at least 100 something calories each.

Stickies or one of those longline bras with the superlow back (backless strapless). PLEASE do not use the ones with the clear straps!

Madhur Jaffrey's cookbooks are like the bibles of Indian cooking! Don't bother making naan, buy the frozen ones from Trader Joe's, even my mom (who had her own Indian catering biz) uses those sometimes, they're really good. They have a tandoor at home, which is what naan is traditionally made in, but they don't even use it…

I think its the confusion over what "curry" is - I know a lot of non-desis just refer to all Indian food is "curry" but I'm not sure what it means here, food with curry powder? Idk.

Good post! Its so weird that Indian food has gotten popular - like 10 years ago my friends would be like gross what are you eating, now people can't get enough! The Indian/Pakistani thing isn't an issue here - I always just make sure to ask for the food desi style, but they know that by looking at me anyway, so I never get…

Kicked the latest fool to the curb so checkin in!! ;)

@meredith - Those gorgeous blue eyes!

What people? But more importantly, so what? I just ordered my mom some measuring wine glasses for her birthday! Got them from amazon, they are marked in oz on the glass, genius!
-
Weigh measure and count everything - except a few veggies like lettuce. I figure 2-3 calories here and there doesn't matter much, but for everything else, estimating or eyeballing can be serious mistakes.

True, but the type of visitation is up to the courts, so many people here are saying to do supervised or terminate his rights...all those things are not in her control. You're absolutely right, but my point is that people need to think about who they are having children with. In most situations, you got yourself into it…

Sorry, didn't realize that wasn't you. LOL yes thank you, I have handled enough of these cases to know how contempt of court works. My point was that the other rights do not matter, and if he exercises his legal rights and she doesn't comply, she will be facing the consequences.
-
I am aware of that, I am talking about legal rights v. moral rights or whatever it is you mean when you say "he does not have "Every right to see his kids"." Why fight him on this when he is going to get visitation anyway? Be the bigger person, and let your children see that you weren't fighting their dad on visitation -…
-
I don't have kids myself, but I'm an attorney and have handled many custody, support, visitation etc cases. Luckily domestic relations courts are all about what is best for the children as well - and overall the courts believe that, barring any extraordinary circumstances, children should have visitation with their…

Its not BS, its the truth. As you said, he does have the legal right to see them, so I'm not sure what you mean by saying he does not have every right to see them. The legal right is all that matters - if she wants to exercise her moral rights and they are in opposition to his legal rights, she will find herself in jail…

He can just file for visitation if you do that and he WILL get it. Of course he can't take them without your consent, but you also cannot refuse consent unreasonably.
-
Sorry, but he is their father and you cannot keep him from them. Legally, child support and visitation are not supported - barring some crazy circumstances, you cannot keep a man from his children. It isn't your place to "let" him in.
