I agree - he's insecure and afraid you will leave him for someone who is nice. Since he's being such a butt! And he should be worried - you can only take so much. Tell him to shape up, keep his mouth shut and encourage you not tear you down. You just keep plugging along. I too and doing P90X and am just under 200 pounds at…

Jeff Galloway (famed runner/author) put on FB this morning that the Boston Marathon officials even recommended even seasoned runners walk/run the course. It's what Jeff has been saying all along. Jeff advocates a run/walk program, and he's a well-respected runner himself. He came out with one of the first books on running…

Due to get my P90X tomorrow so I will be starting next Monday, on the 23rd. But I will be reading everyone else's posts, so I have an idea what I'm in for! LOL

Get back on the wagon - you won't regret it! I fall off here and there, too. But the most important thing is that you not stay on the ground, get back on that wagon! You can do it.

Had a very hard time gettting my tail out of bed this morning, but I did it! W3D2 done! I just reminded myself that I won't have time to do it later, no matter how comfy the bed was. Have a great day everyone!

Thank you! I have been battling the same 4 or so pounds also, and I weigh each morning. So you know how crazy that can make me! I need to do this. I've been looking for my measuring tape, may have to buy another one and start looking at measurements and my clothes. Keep up the great work!

Yay! Way to go, keep it up!

Had a bad food weekend, but got up today and did W3D1, and I feel great! I was worried about the 3 min run, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. Hallelujah! Keep up the great work everyone and keep on going!

I went to the Taste of Home Cooking School last night, so got to be later than usual. It was hard to get up this morning at 5 to do my workout, but I did it! And of course I feel great for doing it! W2 done, bring on week 3! Oh, I went to www.runnersworld.com and looked up information on preventing injuries, and found some…

I love Laughing Cow with Triscuits. Mmmmm

I have a texture problem with food, too! I can't stand yogurt, oatmeal especially, etc. But if it has some texture to it I can do it. I like to add lowfat granola to yogurt and then I can eat it. There is nothing that makes oatmeal better, for me. But I grew up on grits and so I love them. I know, I'm odd.

We have about 8 or so inches of snow here, and it started last night. So I boiled chicken breasts last night (without the skin), and took it off the bone and put back in the broth. It's sitting in the fridge. So tonight I will skim off whatever fat is there and bring to a boil, and add frozen egg noodles. Mmmmm, perfect…

I say welcome!

W2D2 done! Yay! I feel great, and the scale is smiling (just a little, but it's smiling).

Excellent! Our children learn by watching, and you obviously are setting a good example for her. Keep up the good work! Being a mom is a wonderful thing!

I love your husband's thinking!

I agree - she was beautiful before, but she's smoking now! And thank her for allowing us to see all her pictures, I know that's hard, and thank you and her for the reminder of prayer.

Did W2D1 this morning! I felt great, except for a little shin splint pain. It was a little hard getting out of bed this morning, but I feel great now! I just have to keep reminding myself of how it makes me feel afterwards, and that I'm accomplishing something. Keep going everybody!

Don't pay any attention to her! You can do this - just stay on these boards and gain inspiration from them. And make some friends on here. These boards keep me going and are helping me shut up the fat voice in my own head that says I can't do it. But I'm sick and tired of feeling like this. We can do this! And remember we…

That's right! You just keep doing what you're doing, and take care of yourself and let them be jealous - that's the only reason they are hating! Great job. I bet her comments just gave you even more inspiration and movtivation!

I have that 'I Feel Good' song stuck in my head! Finished W1D3 at a higher pace than I started, so I'm very happy, and the scale was down. So it looks like it's going to be a great day! Hope everyone else has a great one and a great weekend. Now the battle begins for me - weekends are awful! But I'll check in for…

I did W1D2 today and I feel great! I just keep telling myself when that alarm goes off, how great I'm going to feel. And I guess I'm slow - I walk at 2.5 and jog at 4.0 for right now. I'm sure I'll build up as I go along. Keep it up everyone! Don't forget to journal your food, too. Nutrition is 80% of the battle.

I feel for you. I just came out of a funk like that myself. Why try, it really doesn't matter, etc. But I hate the way I look and feel. So I searched and found a goal. I'm doing the C25K and pretty excited about it. Check it out. If it's not the thing for you, look around and see if you can find a challenge that does fit…

I'm with you on this! Weekends are awful for me! I did okay on Saturday, but yesterday - forget it! And my family has a habit of going to BR after church Sunday nights, so I'm going to have to figure out a way to change that or something. But I'm back on the wagon today and I did work out, so I figure it's in the right…
