  • Ok, ok... fair enough... what's your excuse for Rebecca Black?
  • Yes but the American Usher discovered him and THOUGHT he had talent.... I totally blame US for that one....
  • Based on your diary, your eating pretty well, but VERY irregularily. There are days you are under eating and sojme you are over eating. I would also guess that you are over estimating your walking speeds as well. there fore overestimating the calories, so eating more than you are burning. I would look into getting some…
  • People betray trust all the time, the fact that he did it twice is your red flag...
  • He may not have physically cheated, but there is also emotional cheating. If he hasn't made the steps to make you feel comfortable, then you need to move on. And clearly she wasn't a 'mutal' friend, or she wouldn't have asked him in the first place.
  • They were likely just friends with you cause they were too nice to delete you first....
  • I went through this with my kids. It depends on how much she is eating. If you are monitoring and she is eating balanced, then yes. However if she is not eating enough good stuff and only wants the dessert, then no. That can be just as bad. You need to try to get her onto a routine to eat at regular intervals or she will…
  • of courese you can call yourself a success story! 40 lbs is an amazing loss. Great job.
  • Awesome job...
  • I will NEVER give up my coffee. I drink it with a little sugar and cream. Work it into my calorie intake for the day. Still losing weight. Unless there is a medical reason to give it up, I don't see why. I did however have to cut back (I was up to more than 2 pots a day... OUCH)
  • I was originally slated for 1450 calories when I started at 285lbs, I dont eat back exercise calories unless I'm hungry after my regular allowance, and then it's usually a protein shake or bar. I have lost almost 60lbs and still eat around 1450 calories. even though MFP keeps trying to drop my intake. things don't always…
  • NO BACON? :noway:
  • Can you not see the red flags? He's checking up on you at random times through out the day? Wants to know whos talking to you? all the time? now wants you to move away from your home base? And if you're worried you might miss "your soul mate" clearly he AIN'T it... Man there are all kinds of crazy out there!!!
  • Wow great job... an amazing story for sure.. Good for you for not forgetting where you have come from...!
  • To each their own, I LOVE lifting, I love the soreness, and I love to sweat it out. I hate the cardio portion, but I suck it up and get done what needs doing.
  • K first off it depends where you start. The thing to remember is that while your body repairs, it is adding weight to your body. However if you are large like I was the whole "you're replacing fat with muscle so you won't see it on the scale" is crap. If you have access fat to lose, you will see a decrease in your weight…
  • it is a total lifestyle change. The diets don't work, it's all about checks and balances. This is what I've learned so far. If you diet, then hit goal and don't continue, you're going to gain it all back. There is no maintanace... if you have truly changed your lifestyle...
  • both of mine were surprises, not accidents. We had the attitude that if it happened it happened, and we did nothing to prevent it. It still took 1.5 years for the first one to be conceived.
  • Yes it does, really any juice would work, just make sure it's low calorie and not high in sugar.
  • I for one am not giving up or sacrificing anything I enjoy to lose weight. In the end we have to enjoy our lives and not feel that the lifestyle is a punishment. It's all about balances. I wanna have a beer tonight, I need to move more to earn it. So yeah rewards are the spice of life. It's the people who cut things out…
  • I would have to disagree here, I still drink beer on a regular basis, I get lower cal, but still have it regularily, and usually on Saturday evenings I'm at some pub watching some sort of sporting event where I also indulge. Generally I make sure that I have had a great workout and have the calories, but hey, that's just…
  • Oh, my go to is vodka, 3/4 club soda and 1/4 either cranberry or lime juice. But really any low cal juice would likley work.
  • I also have had 2 c-sections, my trainer has me doing reverse crunches. I require a weight plate above my head to keep me steady, but man it works those lower torso that was cut. I had pain for the first couple of times, but once worked through the scar tissue stretching (stopping if it was excrutiating) it is becoming…
  • I recently went through this with my teens, they are 12 months apart, my son loves lacrosse, so when he started playing, so did his little sister. He was later diagnosed with scoliosis and required surgery last year, and won't be able to play competative lacrosse again. My daughter however, took a shining and is a very…
  • If I weighed monthly I'd have shown a 16 lb loss at once... wow, that would have been awesome
  • do curtsey lunges, I feel them EVERY time
  • Me too, just got mine but so far I LOVE them.
  • This gives me hope. I have 120+ lbs to lose, doing a lot of lifting, I was aftraid I would never lose the loose skin! thanks for posting.
