Almost sounds like you hyperextended something. I don't haven't had that soreness in a long time. When I did it was because of poor form.

That would depend on where you start. I started at 285, so yeah, I have a defecit, but I'm also building muscle (ppl tell me it's not possible) I am now at a point that my lean muscle is burning calories efficiently enough that I am losing more lbs each week than I even plan.

Muscle and fat DO weigh the same.. a lb is a lb, it's the volume that is different, not the weight!

People are WAY too sensitive these days... I'm not one to beat around the bush. My friends know this, so they don't take my bluntness as a bad thing... LOL. I've come right out and asked my friends what size they wear, they respond and I tell em, well I may have some stuff that would fit you. Never been an issue.

I mentioned to one of my friends that I had a whole lot of clothes to donate to a charity, she asked if she could go through them first, problem solved!

good for you for taking the first step!

^^^Love this... Great outlook!

Looking at your diary, my suggestion is to up your protein levels. If your working out, you're not feeding your body enough protein to repair itself after exercise. This could also help with the crabby feeling you are experiencing, and will also help you feel fuller longer. That is what I have done anyway, I usually try to…

Yes I always eat on my schedule whether I'm hungry or not. I don't eat back my exercise calories though as everyone tells you too, but I do ensure that I don't eat crap either, and high protein. I find if I wait til I'm hungry, that is when I make poor decisions on food.

Honestly if he's not willing to walk through a mall with you because he's worried about what people will think, he's an *kitten*. My hubby and I had a chat about my weight but not because of how I look, he loves me for me, he was more concerned about my health. My mom is overweight and is having a lot of medical issues now…

Yep, some of the ladies in my office have tried many of the fad diets, been successful but then gained it all back when they started eating real food again. All this while I have adopted a lifestyle change rather than a diet. They all seem disappointed when I tell them my success has come simply from eating healthy and…

I agree. After one hour at the gym, I have nothing left. There is no way I would be able to do 2 classes back to back! Plus I'd rather get in, work my *kitten* off for an hour and get out... I still have a life to live!

I'd rather eat food that fuels me for a good workout to lose my weight. I'm not very often left hungry. It's all about choices. There are plenty of foods out there that will help you feel fuller longer without a lot of calories.

That's true, but at the same time no one is trying to say dairy products poison you based on the handful of people who can't tolerate it either...

Too many to put into words... lol

My hubby and I have been together for 18 years (started dating when I was 16) we creep our teenagers out because we still date! He will tell the kids not to talk to his wife that way (not their mother). But we figured about 7 years ago that we better get back to the point of dating and loving being together cause once the…

Keep in mind that to get aspartame poisoning you would have to consume LARGE amounts. There are people who are sensitive to it, just like any other food. If you are consuming enough aspartame to get poisoning, you have bigger issues....

unfortunately that is where I have seen the most dramatic changes as well. My hubby said he'd buy me new ones when I'm done losing weight... :blushing:

It doesn't get warm enough here long enough to warrant an investment like that... hot tube... maybe. LOL

3 egg omlettes. Depending on fillings (usually do veggies with green onion, peppers) can go over or under the 300 cal mark. Lots of protein and filling.

My trainer has me set up on a routine that has 2 hard workouts per week, I go in at least 1-2 more times on my own doing mostly cardio and light weights. You need to give yourself time to repair in between hard sets. If your injuring yourself your doing something wrong, your body isn't healed from the last set. You are at…

OMG your dog is so cute!

34, I'm a mom to two teenagers though, not so little anymore :( Feel free to add me,

I hear you, it is easier sometimes to turn to food. I recently helped a good friend and her kids through the loss of the childrens stepbrother, grandmother and father within 5 months of eachother, then to top it off 4 of the girls best friends were killed by a drunk driver. My son went for massive back surgery shortly…

Maybe I'm missing something, but your tracker says your goal weight is 85lbs? and you want to be lean? Being underweight is a TERRIBLE idea. you won't be able to make 85 AND be lean. Even at 5'1 85 lbs is way to low. I have a friend in RL that is 5'2 and lean muscle (doing competition this fall) and weighs in arount 134.…

on days I'm not with my trainer, VERY. The angrier the music the harder I work.

It's true, I am losing at the same rate as some who don't workout, the difference though is that by me working out regularily and doing hard workouts, is that I am building lean muscle. I think that in the long run, my habits and workout will allow for long term change not just to lose weight. You don't need to workout to…

You should talk to your vet, I know there are caps you can have glued overtop of their claws. Kind of like fake nails but doesn't harm them in anyway but dulls the claw. My friend does them to her cats all the time (they will eventually grow out and need to be replaced periodically)
