  • I stand and stretch as often as possible. Also get up to the washroom or run to the kitchen to get water often. I have also been known to take phone calls while standing.

  • I'm a beer gal so my latest frend is Molson 67. Low in alcohol content as well, but I'm ok with that, I drink it for the taste not the effects! Also vodka is low, mixed with low calorie mix.
  • When you join a gym ask if you can get an orientation with it where someone will walk you around and introduce you to the equipment.
  • She's bigger than you are, and less active, therefore her heart was working harder. The smaller and fitter you are, the more efficient your heart pumps, therefore it takes more to burn calories because you are more fit.
  • I have suffered (and still do) from depression and anxiety issues. I found what helped me with the anxiety issue and getting into exercise, I hired a trainer, someone to help me so I wasn't so self-conscious, started working outside and at a private gym. It wasn't open to the public so only people who had appointments with…
  • In another color, yes, but not white, dark colors aren't the only option, just not something that looks so bridal...
  • Oilers fan (yeah I know, but they have to turn around once all those young guys can play a full 60 minutes)... And even when they suck, the stadium is FULL.
  • WoW good for you...
  • Awesome job, you look fantastic.
  • Anything by Ke$ha, I can feel my brain cells dieing off everytime she comes on the radio! :explode:
  • That's the ultimate birthday present to yourself... Happy Birthday
  • With out your diary being open it's hard to give advice. You may need to chose foods that fill you up longer. A workout will also get you extra calories to eat. But don't go hungry. Even going over, you need to eat if your body is sending these signals.
  • The only thing that offends me in the gym are the people that take up space, but never really accomplish anything! Had 3 girls the other day laying on the floor mats talking like they were in someones bedroom! Not just for a few minutes, they were there over 20 minutes doing a crunch here and there...Like really! Grrr.…
  • I thought through my first pregnancy (at 17) that I could eat like I always did (typical teen) gained about 30 lbs, lost 20 of it and got pregnant again when my son was 2 months old, continued to eat the same, but gained 80lbs with the second! took me about 10 years to lose it all, then quit smoking and gained alot…

  • Volbeat.... Love them! and 5FDP
  • save yourself some time and money, meet him at the door with nothing but heels, an apron and a beer in your hand!
  • My advice is lose the weight PROPERLY, (only if you want to) get down to your goal weigt so you have some confidence AND KICK HIS *kitten* TO THE CURB, and teach your children that people can't treat others that way and to be better people than he is.
  • My daughters name is Nikita, she used to hate it and went by Niki, but she is starting to use the full name now (she's 15 and decided she doesn't want to be another Niki)
  • Allmax Isoflex Whey Protein Isolates are good too, 27g of protein in a 30g scoop and 110 calories, no funny aftertaste either. I mix my chocolate flavor with cocoa and instant coffee in the morning for my knock off starbucks mocha frappacino I was so addicted to!
  • 3 times a DAY for an hour? I hope that was a typo
  • Check out the book New Rules of Lifting For Women, very informative program set up, it will also explain why lifting is more beneficial than running alone.
  • How do you pretty much look the same? It is so obvious that you have lost a significant amount, congrats, doin awesome.
  • The same way your son is going to start soon, one foot in front of the other. Take him for a walk, as you get further and it gets easier, up the intensity, when I started in Oct I couldn't do 1 minute on the elliptical at 0, now 30 minutes at 5 or 6 is nothing. It will come, it will take work, but you will get there.
  • I was one who never ate, I could go all day and not notice, hubby would come home and ask if I'd eaten and often the answer was no (even though I was feeding kids). Since I started having a protein shake in the morning, I forced myself for a long time to eat every few hours (I couldn't make my calorie intake otherwise) now…
  • You may be dropping lbs quickly, but 12lbs over 2 weeks might be a little exessive and dangerous, anything over 3 lbs is usually lean muscle that you are losing
  • Are you taking in lots of protein to help quickly repair those muscles? Even slightly sore you should be able to run the next day?
  • You want to make sure that bare minimum you are eating that 1600 calories a day, it already has a defecit figured in based on the goals you set in your settings. It's up to you if you eat back your exercise calories, but if your hungry and they are there, don't stay hungry, eat! Make sure you are eating foods that are…
  • Depends on your body, I have a lot to lose, so I have a lower calorie intake, I work out HARD 3-4 x a week. I usually don't eat back my exercise calories, however if I'm hungry on those days, I will eat extra cause my body needs it. It really depends on you. I have had a slow metabolism most of my life due to ED as a…
