  • Awesome! I'm hoping to be back there in a week or 2 myself
  • $3.29 is one of the cheaper prices around me for milk also. Kroger has milk 2/$5 right now ( and often do) If I am out of ( or close to it) then I buy 4 gallons at a time. We can easily go through 3 gallons a week with 2 adults and 3 (sometimes 4 or more) kids here. Prices on everything else seem to just keep rising.…
  • SW 205. GW 145ish. Tomorrow is day 10 for me, which is also when I will weigh in, and hopefully see progress. New friends are definitely welcome.
  • I'm also determined to make this the year I finally meet my weight loss goals. I started in December and am making small changes and forming new habits. Add me if you'd like.
  • thanks for sharing the videos!
  • I'm 30 y/o mother of 5 ( ages 14, 11, 10, 8, and 8) Yes, twins! :) Mine are no longer toddlers, but getting them to eat healthy is still a struggle. I often find myself making something entirely different for me to eat, which can become time consuming and very frustrating. Other times I make a meal that can be…
  • I was weighing myself everyday, but the frustration was causing me anxiety ( even though I'm fully aware of fluctuations). So I quit. I now weigh whenever I think about it first thing in the morning. I aim at weekly, but think the 10 day or every other week that others have mentioned would work better for me. As others…
  • I'm with you all. Also seen a pic recently ( like 2 days ago) and felt disgusted with myself. I'm 6 days into this, and I don't plan on quitting.
  • Hi, everyone! I'm a single mom to 5. I find my issue is coming up with healthy meals that every one will eat. Often times I am making myself something separate to eat, which can be very frustrating. I am constantly trying to come up with new ideas. 1 kid won't touch veggies at all, the others will sometimes. One, luckily…
  • It does seem to be the worst. I lost the weight once, a few years ago, then gained it back. I did it then; I believe I can lose it again, and hopefully keep it off for good. Thanks for the add!
  • I'm taking things one day at a time. My only specific daily goal at this point is to log whatever I eat/drink. I have avoided exercise as well, because I have a condition where there is fluid on my brain which gets increased and basically squeezes my brain. Ab exercises and up/down (i.e. burpees) increase the pressure…
  • I'm also an overthinker, previously drawing up elaborate lists of how, when, where, and what I had to do to reach my goals. It works for some, but for me it was a huge setback, every single time. I'm recently back to MFP and have decided that for now, my only goal is to log my food and exercise (when and if I do it). I…
  • Anyone is welcome to add me.I'm also recently back to MFP. The few friends I had on here aren't very active on the site or have altogether quit logging in. I am 30 y/o 5'3 wanting to lose 40 pounds (I'll reassess when I lose 40 lbs and make new goals)
  • Hi. Sorry that you are struggling. I can relate some. I do not have fibromyalgia, but I do have Intracranial hypertension (aka pseudotumor cerebri). This causes me daily, sometimes constant, pain. Exercise is often intolerable. I have recently started logging my food again, because I know that if I can change and control…
  • I've had way too much processed sugar in the past, cutting back on it is one of my main goals. I currently use International Delight. I will look up the nutritional info for the Natural Bliss.
  • I wish I could stand to drink it black. I was super picky as a kid and less picky as an adult...that is one thing I have not been able to do. I'm not even heading over to youtube to watch, so definitely won't be taking her advice. I wouldn't feel as bad about my sugar intake if it was more from fruit instead of added…
  • I don't add sugar in my coffee, and most other things I make i do usually use brown sugar, or at least half brown to half whit. I do not like the artificial sweeteners. I occasionally use honey or agave in oatmeal to sweeten it. And yes, I am trying to be good and kick the sugar habit. I feel better without loads of it,…
  • hahaha...I guess it could be about coffee. However, I have tried that.. I just can't. And it's no longer a half cup, but 3 tbsp. I know many don't consider it coffee..but hey, there is still coffee in it so counts to me
  • I started to put 1 pound per week, initially.Since I am not exercising very much, currently, I know that I am not likely to lose 2 per week. I am going to do my best to hit 1230 cals everyday.
  • I have tried the coconut oil in coffee before. It's not for me. Thanks for the suggestion, though
  • ndj1979 my stats are: 30 y/o 5'3 200 lbs Goal is -2 pounds per week and MFP suggest 1230 cals a day
  • Thanks for your input! Research is definitely on my to do list today.
  • I have thought about skipping the hot chocolate, only reason I haven't is because my calories have been under 1,000 by the end of the day. I've only been back to logging my food for 3 days now. Just trying to get better at how I fuel my body. I do plan on getting more veggies, salad, and lean meat) when I go back to the…
  • Absolutely nothing wrong with coffee. It is what I look forward to every single morning. :) I had no idea that MFP's sugar recommendation is low. Looks like I need to do more research. My calories have been under 1,000, which I'm certain isn't good.. ? Not much exercise recently. I do have a medical condition : pseudotumor…
  • Hi, I'm a 30 y/o mom of 3 boys ages14,8,8...yes, twins! :) and 2 girls ages 10 and 11. My goal is to lose 40 pounds to start with ( ultimately 50-55). I have been on MFP for quite some time, just haven't been active. I am ready to change that and reach my goals. Anyone is welcome to add me. Looking forward to new friends.…
  • Hi, I'm also looking for friends for motivation, accountability, and support. Jen, sending you a request.
  • Hi, I'm 30 y/o and 205 lbs. My goal is to lose 40-50 lbs. I have minimal support.. add me if you're interested in support/accountability. I have lost before , so I know I can do it again. It seems tougher this time, though. I am starting with baby steps and trying to get back in the habit of tracking food and fitness. My…
