Level 2, Day 3 done! I have to modify the $&?!(#% pendulum lunge, they really strain my hip flexors. I'm probably doing them wrong too. I subbed in a plié squat thinking my inner thighs could use some work! I feel like I'm not working so hard I'll die any more with cardio, but I'm still dripping with sweat when I stop! :)

Very cool! What heart rate monitor/app is this?
-
Wow. Level 2 is intense! Day 2 done. I re-tweaked a hip flexor during pendulum lunges. Hope it isn't too bad! I hurt it skiing last weekend, or rather, falling last weekend. :) may have to take lunges easy for a few days.

L2D1, done! It was definitely challenging, but I feel good! I hear you on the wrists, definitely got to watch that. I found if I adjust my wrist position a few times during the exercise, it's better. The twists/skaters really got my heart rate up! Wowzers!!

I think I was definitely gargling my heart! (Where does she come up with this stuff??) I was feeling pretty fit after level 1, but all that plank stuff killed me. I only had to take a few breaks, and did mostly the full versions of the exercises. Mostly. :) Looking forward to it getting easier, and me fitter!

Day 10 done! On to level 2...bring it Jillian! :)
-
Day 9 done! I tried a taste of level 2 to see how hard it was going to be. Looks tough!! I tried full push ups Saturday, and did5. Today, I did all oof set one, about 20! Tomorrow, I'll try to do both sets...:)
-
Day 8 done! I was able to do almost one full set of full push ups! Is it just me, or are the jump ropes easier at the end? Maybe I'm just happy we are almost done...:)
-
Just finished day 7! It was also day 1 of TOM, so I worried about cramps. But I made it through, and feel good! Anterior raises are easier for me too, but I still have to take a break. I keep lunging, just pause on the raise. Woo hoo! Anyone peek ahead at level 2 yet??

Day 6 is done! And was my fourth before work workout! I took a lunchtime yoga class yesterday, and it really helped undo the soreness. It was deep stretching (iyengar). I feel good, and I am pretty sure my jeans are already looser!
-
Day 5 done by 6:00 am! I feel stronger and almost all the soreness is gone. Still can't do too many full push ups, but the half push ups feel pretty challenging! My hubs stoked the wood stove at 5, and it was like hot yoga 30 day shred! Sweaty!! :)

Day 4 this morning, that's two morning workouts in a row! MAJOR victory there! I read about how soreness just disappears by day four. It hasn't disappeared, but it was dramatically less this morning. I feel great, and am happy that it goes by so fast. I'm already tired of hearing Jillian say the same thing over and over,…

Day three is in the books! It was the first day trying to do this in the morning before work, which was a victory in and of itself. I got up 30 minutes earlier than usual, and managed to get the workout in, the rest of my morning animal chores, and out the door early! I think it revved my metabolism up enough to make me…

I can't believe how sore I was after day 1! Everything hurt! I didn't think I'd be able to do day 2, but it was actually easier than day 1. It's mostly abs and glutes for me. I like the feeling that I am working these muscles. Hopefully I'm not more sore tomorrow. :)
-
I started day one today too. It was hard, but not too terribly bad. I only bailed out of the last couple of butt kicks once. The punch/squats made me lightheaded, so I went slowly. Tomorrow should be better! I plan to workout at 6:00 on weekdays, a bit later on weekends. The good thing was how fast it flew by! For those a…

L1D1 complete! It was tough! The punch/squats were actually the hardest, but only because I got a little lightheaded. But I made it through! Woo hoo!

I'd like to lose 40-50 pounds this year. I'm off to a good start, and feel motivated which is the key. I have a big ol' 15'3, 1200 # hand amazing horse that I trail ride with and have been training for versatility competition (think dog agility for horses). But I also have a 14'1 quick super smart and talented horse that I…

Way to go! Thanks for posting your progress! I've heard about those Tough Mudder races, sounds crazy and fun...Maybe someday! :)

Hi everyone! I'm a little late to the thread, but would love to have some horse buddies! I've got two, a 15'3 1200 lb paint gelding and a 14'1 hand 950 lb buckskin! I know my big guy can handle me, but I want to get back into my old riding form to really enjoy my little buckskin, maybe do gaming and team penning. We do a…

Hi! I've been gluten free for about a month. I am already feeling better (mentally clear and getting relief from fibrocystic breast pain) and have lost weight fairly easily - bonus!! I'd like to add some GF friends too for info/support/recipes. :)
-
Nice to meet you, I could use some buddies too! I've been logging since November, and am 12 down with about 40+/- to lose.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards, but not to MFP. I just wanted to comment on Wheat Belly. I've been generally following the program for about 5 weeks, and I am down 12 pounds! I think it's probably got more to do with the other central theme of the book - not eating foods with high GI. I find that eliminating/cutting…
