Awesome! What a feeling! And that 14" saddle size isn't lost on me! Great job! :)

Great ideas! I love Skinnytaste.com, she's got some amazing recipes! I'll add a tip for shredding chicken...after spending a day in the crockpot-spa, put your cooked chicken breasts (or thighs if boneless, skinless) in your stand mixer (KitchenAid). Use the paddle attachment and go for 45 seconds or so on medium speed.…

Hey everyone! I'm on week three of a CLX/TF hybrid. It's the one her sister Janelle created, and she adds some of the shorter TUrboFire HIIT and abs with the CLX workouts. I've mostly followed it, but often don't have a full hour in the morning so I've missed a few stretch and abs add ons. I'm just finding the right…

I did the 30DS in March, didn't lose a pound, but lost a lot of inches and gained muscle. I started Body Revolution April 1st, and am 7 days from finishing! I've lost 13 pounds so far, and more inches. I'm down 3 clothing sizes, and I am in really great shape both in cardio and strength. My upper body is ripped! I love her…

Wow! You look amazing! Attitude is everything when it comes to staying motivated, and you definitely have a great one. Thanks for posting your story!

Hi everyone! I started today, April 3rd. I finished 30 Day Shred on Monday! I really improved my overall fitness with Shred, and have toned up all over and lost a lot of inches. I didn't lose any pounds at all, which was a huge bummer! I chalk it up to focusing more on making the daily workout a habit and building new…

Hi! Just getting started, Workout one is done! Coming off of 30 Day Shred, I thought it was pretty easy. Famous last words, I know it...:)
-
Finished!! ???????? Sadly, I ended with a net nothing on weight loss. I had gained 3-4 at the beginning, that is now gone, but it didn't take any friends with it. ???? I'm pretty sure I lost a few inches (will measure tonight). Even though it isn't as many as I'd hoped (i checked the other day, unofficially) my clothes fit…

Level 3 day 9!!!! Squeezed it in before heading off to Easter feast. Was pretty good food-wise, but glad I worked out! ???? See you tomorrow for a final report! Taking Tuesday off then starting body revolution! Im definitely interested in staying accountable with everyone! Are we going to start a new JM thread, or joining…

Agreed, Allergic, you are a superstar! Have a great rest day, and kick the crap out of day 10 on Monday! I just finished day 8! I am so glad we made it through (almost anyway), and I'm so ready to move on to the next thing. Though I admit I'm a little scared of Jillian's next bag of tricks...I am going to start Body…

Awesome Leanne! You are going to kill it in level 3!!! Way to go!! :)

L3 D7! Been fighting a cold all week, but felt good and really sweated it out today! Can almost do all the strength in circuit 3. Almost...

Me too! I have heavy metal weights, and it just kills my hands. I started doing it without the weights, and find the move isn't that hard. I'm not getting the weighted row benefit, but that's okay. At least my hands aren't aching!!
-
L3 D7 is behind me. It's getting easier each time. However, that said, circuit 3 is a still killer all around though. I cringe when she says, "back on the mat, plank position" and I'm always very happy after that last side plank, even holding it for 5 seconds! :)
-
L3 D5 done!! Getting easier, though I still loathe the walking push up/plank row combo....
-
L3D3 done! The row/leg lifts are the worst. I can do almost one full set, then have to go to modified. It hurts my hand that is taking all the weight while the other is rowing. Anyone else? I have metal weights. Maybe I need to wrap them with tape or something. And rock stars are tough. Mine look more like jump ropes! I've…
-
L3D2! It's tough, all those planks and push ups! But I was crazy and did 20 min of kickboxing right afterwords. Feeling good!! Way to keep it up everyone!!
-
L3 D1! It was tough, but I definitely felt so much stronger than a mere 20 days ago. No way could i have done any of those walking push ups! I had trouble with the row/lift things, my hands were hurting toward the end. So. Many. Planks!! And the rock stars about killed me! I was feeling good when i finished, and tried a JM…

L2 D10!!! Done! I pushed hard and really felt it. Bye level 2! I won't miss you squat thrusts! (Please tell me there are no squat thrusts in level 3!)

Pounds and inches aren't budging too much for me, and that is definitely a downer. But on the plus side, I've gotten up every morning and done this for 19 days! I feel stronger, clothes are fitting better, and I've got more energy in general. I was hopeful this 30 day stretch would be a gateway into motivation for regular…

Well done! I'm a day behind since I took a rest day, but I'll be finished with 2 after tomorrow. I'm actually not hating it anymore, and finding I'm definitely getting fitter because I'm having to dig in deeper to get my heart rate up and sweat. I was DRIPPING after the first day of L2. Lunges still bug me a bit, but…
-
L2, Day8 done! The rest day helped a lot. I wasn't as sore in my hip flexors and lower abs, and was able to modify the pendulum lunges by doing one full set of regular lunges on the left side, then one set on the right (rather than 2 sets of pendulum, alternating legs each time). It was the traveling from back to front…

I took a rest day to give my hip/lower ab strain a break. It was funny, I missed doing it! I actually felt guilty! Doing my best to keep eating in check today, and about to go play in the fresh new last day of winter snow with the dogs. See you in the morning Jillian!
-
We need one!!
-
Wow, Day 7 L2, done! Only three more days at this level thankfully! I'm not having trouble with cardio or strength, but with things that aggravate this very minor but annoying strain in my hip/groin/lower ab. It's isolated to one "area" but a few things seem bother it. I've already subbed plie squats for pendulum lunges.…

Doing well by Jillian, thinking about Ripped in 30 and C25k, as I love running in the early morning spring/summer, bu would like to be a few pounds lighter to make it easier on my knees. I was also thinking about checking into Jillian's Body Revolution or Turbo Fire for a 90 day push to get to summer (and into a cute…

Haha... Office of Redundancy Department called, said topic name is just fine. (need more coffee...)
-
D2L5 done! Mostly getting easier, except pendulum squats. Anyone else have hip flexor issues (pain) with them? The plié squat is a good substitute, heart rate stays up and my inner thighs can use all the extra help they can get!!
-
Agree totally! The pendulum lunges are the worst...partially cause I tweaked a hip flexor, and they made it worse. But lunges have always been hard! I use a step stool, about 8" high and step forward onto it. It helps! btay, I hear you! For me it's the squat and v-lift raise (or whatever she calls it). 5 lbs is a tad to…

My soreness is gone too. I thought I might have new soreness after starting L2, but so far so good! Yoga is helping too... We are getting stronger by the day! Yay us!! :)
