are you being too strict/giving up too many things with your food choices all at once?? i find i am that way. i too have a nasty sweet tooth, however my cravings are mid afternoon. i say screw it, i'll have a smaller portion of some full fat full sugar treat.

request sent! as others have stated- invest in a heart rate monitor. i have found that MFP grossly exaggerates calories burned on most exercises. thus, is you go by what MFP says you burned and eat those back, you will probably not see any wt loss. i have found that the MFP response to walking (treadmill 4.0) is close to…

tiramisu. have it maybe once a year. havent mastered it myself, and finding a good piece in my city is hard to come by. probably a good thing.

driving home after work one nite, residential area, lots of vans and trucks parked on both sides. just as i was starting to pass all the vehicles the SWAT team exited all the parked vehicles. not for me but they were raiding a house. obviously thier look-out didnt see me coming.......

while i'm not going to directly respond to your question, i do agree with all other posters. check stats on the long term statistics of surgery. everyone that i know who has undergone weight loss surgery has failed. weight mgt is a lifestyle. there is no miracle. and check the stats on those who undergo wt loss surgery and…

daily. the protein works for me. usually breakfast and lunch when at work. simple. egg beaters, pinch of shredded cheese, tbs bacon bits, cooked in olive oil. eaten open faced on half a bagel. comes in at just above 300 cals. if i have time i jazz it up with veggies.

not from canada, not a vegetarian, but i too can also support you! fun times ahead

someone else had a similar post/question this morning, lol. my response: find a good bean and grind your own. a nice cup of coffee doesnt need enhancements, while the nasty grinds you find on the supermarker shelves must have additives to make it enjoyable. just my personal opinion. i love, love, love coffee, and i do add…

i agree with the other responses, however will add that baby eats what you eat. lets just say you are limiting your fat grams substantially, then your milk will not be as fatty. when my youngest was very little, we found out he had numerous food allergies- baby eats what you eat. so, i wanted to continue to breast feed,…

have you tried finding a really good coffee? i am on the verge of being a coffee snob, however my finances cannot afford the good stuff for daily drinking. excellent beans are wonderful for a nice cup of black coffee, but the crap at the grocery store/target, etc is gross, so i have to doctor it up a little. as long as you…

here is my experience/my body's response: i have never been a pop drinker, and if i do decide to have soda i go for regular, and generally cant even finish a can. iced tea is my weakness, unsweetened (and coffee but that is just a morning thing). for YEARS i would drink crystal light iced tea, faster than waiting for "sun…

doing dishes without gloves, a full fridge....let the anxiety begin! cra-cra!!

protein works for me. its whatever you find best for your body. i usually do egg beaters (egg substitue, etc), 1 TBS shredded cheese, 1 TBS bacon bits made into a mini omlet then put it on half a toasted bagel. an open faced breakfast sandwich if you will. glass of skim milk. i could eat a box of cereal in the morning and…

i am a coffee junkie!! my suggestion would be to learn to drink your coffee with less creamer, but that is just my opinion :glasses:

probably 150ish. i am more aiming for clothes size rather than a scale ##. jean size 29 (NOT SLIM FIT- as i naturally do not have a boyish frame).
-
i am the same. regardless of the increasing whole grains/fiber, i find myself hungry a short while later. potatoes (bakes/boiled/broiled, etc) dont really affect me, but breads/pastas do. for myself, protein makes me feel full.

as with most other responses, i am going to say 'last resort'. any WLS can fail, give you lifelong complications, etc. and studies show that a large % of people who undergo WLS eventually get another addictive habit (alcohol being #1). it's true, a person swaps one addiction (food) for another (ETOH, pills, illegal drugs,…

you're on a downward spiral and obviously in denial. as most others have stated, you need professional help so you can get yourself to into a healthy lifestyle. look up 'refeeding syndrome', just another course your body may travel.

you are doing an amazing job with everything. been there, done that. honestly, i would just try tweaking your meals to begin with, perhaps something on weekends? but if you are like me, weekends are spent with the little one who i rarely saw during the week. for me, time with my child was more important, bu that's just me.…

see if your doctor will give you a script for a surgical bra. (you can always pay out of pocket.( they are very supportive and snug.

i'd be more concerned about 'added/refined sugars'. wouldnt bother with the naturally occurring fruit sugars. keep it real.

i agree with all other responders. also, i work in a rather large building (one level) and i use the restrooms farthest from my desk-extra steps!! i drink lots of water while at work so needless to say i get lots of steps in. my work also has a gym and fitness classes, so i can get 45min of cardio and some strength…

very few people are naturally symetrical- those with extra weight or not. its just nature.
