This^^, though I did have cousins around. Also, as for never being an aunt, not so. I may be aunt by marriage, but I love my nieces and now their children. I think it's more a case of the gras is always greener....

I started so I could get enough protein in my day without too many calories, then I started liking it even more cuz it's a quick easy breakfast. Now it's both of those, plus I REALLY love the taste, it's like a chocolate treat for me.

I got through these last holidays by using teaspoon to serve myself. It kept me from putting a large serving of anything on my plate without meaning to. I'll be doing the same thing going forward.

Only I you run naked and it's a really long one, lol!

This^^ is a great idea, and thanks to OP as well!

Yes, I just started logging. I found that when I don't log I don't always remember if I took them.... getting old, lol.

I will log cooking when I do marathon canning sessions or pie making sessions, etc. It's a lot of extra steps for several hours plus carrying, lifting peeling 20lbs of sweet potatoes, kneading and rolling out dough, etc. Same thing for cleaning when I clean all the carpets in the house, it's several hours of scrubbing plus…

Nope. If I want something I pretty much eat it, I just eat the amount of it that fits into my goals for that day.

Why not just use fat-free half and half, it's only 9 cals per tbsp.

Not sure about costs, but i do know that if you are having issue like back problems due to the size, insurance often will cover it. If that is not the case for you, there is a company called CareCredit that can be used. I used it for getting lasik.

I did it for 6 months. It did get me started in terms of logging what I eat and consciously making better eating choices. BUT, it is expensive, they push WW products and there is not the kind of community support as there is here. It was good for me to start with, but I like MFP better. I like being able to go by calories…

Dr recently did test for vitamin/mineral deficiencies, only one i was deficient in was Vitamin D. I've been taking Centrum all along as well as Calcium, even before I started to try to lose weight. As of today I'm logging those too, I wasn't before.

Just follow her and use your x-ray vision to see what she does when she goes inside buildings. Clearly it's quite good if you could see your valve cover from behind you bike. Oh yeah, I' almost forgot. Just break up with the dealer.

I had the test done at local fitness center (mine does not offer the testing) and did discuss the results with the trainer that administered the test. We discussed routine and diet; his advice was to increase the amount of protein and lower the carbs (fat consumed was fine) and add lifting to my routine. For now I think…

I started the 1200 net in October, before that I wasn't counting, just changing things like goingbto leaner meats, from sour cream to fat-free Greek yogurt, regular to low fat cheese, etc. The study was over 30 wks and participants lost a third of initial body weight... Even so this is scary, now I'm wondering if it ever…

No, it was definitely RMR. No food for 4 hrs prior, no exercise 12 hrs prior, then the breath sensing machine. For BMR theyntold me it would be full night's sleep at the facility then breathing machine upon awakening. Pretty sure it's about as accurate as I can expect.

I did just start a couch to 5 k program, day 3 is tomorrow, and am still swimming 3-4 days most weeks. Hopefully that will help as well.

Thanks Hayley. I struggle with the sleep. I drink about 24-30 oz of water in the first hour, but don't always get to 64 oz. I'll work on that and the other items you mentioned as well. Re: the alcohol, I hadn't thought of it that way, just that it slows not stops. I think I will drop it at least until I get to goal.
