  • I buy expensive "good" chocolate....not just a regular chocolate bar and break it into pieces and freeze individual servings. It takes longer for frozen chocolate to be eaten so you actually have time to savor it :) currently I use Ritter Sport Dark chocolate with hazel nuts YUM!!!! its the best dark chocolate.
  • Now that its my super busy season at work (Tax time) I bring a big bowl of veggies (carrorts, peppers/cucumber) and have it at my desk...and I just much on that...keeps the unhealthy chips/fast foods out of my mind!

  • what I do is wear a HRM then I go to a website that has a calculater that takes my age, duration of exercise and average HR and then gives me the calorie burn, If you do not have a HRM, then I would just pick an exercise that is simular in the database :)
  • Well I am sure everyone is different, but I have lost a lot of weight (pre MFP) when I was at me heaviest (250lbs) and now at 153...I have the same calf size....over the last couple of years I have come to term with not having cute boots and thanking my Dad for the inheritance which helps in my running career :)
  • I totally agree! When you equate you food choices to exercise....it can be a very great deterant....Sure eat the potato chis....but this is what you need to do to burn the extra calories! I also use your motto when having Chocolate...I never just have a chocolate bars anymore, I will have a square or two of the expensive…

  • my indoor HRM gives me an average heart rate for the legnth of time I am exercising....I plug that average into a caloric calendar (there are lots on the web) and it gives my calorie burn....I think unless you have bought a really expensive one you will just get the average...which is ok just like foods nothing is super…
  • I take a few vitamins...one multi, a B complex (I am vegan so this is how I get my B12 :)), Vitamin D (mood, especially during Winter when you dont get much sunlight), Chromium (regulates blood sugars), and PMS cranky/crampy suppressor (well lets just say that everyone is happier when these are taken regularly)
  • you could be intaking too much fiber...if you are intaking more than the recommended amount...I think its 35g your body might be having trouble moving things along....I think in the food traker you can set it so you can see your fiber intake too, :) Hope you feel better!

  • The important thing is that you are aware of your down feeling, maybe use the note section on your food log to make some notations of how you felt, so when you look back you will see why your choices were not so great.
