  • Thanks, I was just amazed at the amount of people who felt it necessary to tell me that I shouldn't be having yet another girl. If it were up to me, I would probably have 6 kids, also! My husband loves babies....but not that much! And he isn't into *trying for a boy* so I can't use that to persuade him:wink: . He is like…
  • Exactly, theres nothing wrong with wanting one gender or the other. If I was blessed with a boy we would have loved him and been happy with a boy. If I had all boys I probably would want to try again for a girl, but its hard to say since it was always my *dream* to have sisters (I have one so I wanted my daughter to have…
  • Oh, I can only imagine what some people would assume by you two not having a baby together. Why do people feel its their business? I don't mind someone asking, its the tone and the way they ask is how you can tell they are being judgmental.
  • I live in Iowa! I thought it was all pretty crazy too the way people can be. I am not easily offended, especially by someone who would have the nerve to say these things but still, it always puts me on defense now.
  • I have found that I absolutely love wearing dresses! I used to wear them before I had kids but after they were born it always seemed to fussy. Hard to breastfeed, roll around with the kids and a number of other things! I started wearing them more during reset and love them so much I went out and kept buying more! I run a…
  • I don't spank or hit my 3 daughters but they all are well behaved and would never say this to someone. My daughters are young but my oldest always steps up to kids and complains all the time about how mean other kids are. She doesn't even have the heart to tease her younger sisters. Instead of just hitting my kids, my…
  • I am in my first week at cut after my 8 wk reset but I am thinking I will do 1 week at 6 weeks. I originally thought I would take a break every 4, but I do have a bit to lose so I think trying to make it to 6 weeks is a better place to start. I'll see how my progress looks at 4, then see if I stall or continue to see…
  • Thank goodness for you that you had those extra kilos. Otherwise that same a** would have been trying to "give you a go". *Shudder*
  • Ha ha, so true! Plus, anyone can be a fat b****. People think thats the worst thing to call a woman so even non-fat people get called that.
  • Its not just "kids these days". Kids were awful and mean back when I was a kid. After I turned 13 I did gain weight and I would get made fun of. Not terrible and all the time, I wasn't huge but I was chubby. Whats worse to me is when I was in my early 20's and I had a co-worker tell me how big I was and she was 10yrs older…
  • I felt (feel?) the same way about cut! Not that EM2WL won't work but that I will go back to old habits and take too many bites here, lick there. I am in day 3 of 10% cut and so far its been fine. I am surprised I have been able to keep my macros on target. Yesterday I was a bit off due to having jury duty and jury…
  • I do agree that are many factors that go into making a baby. I think I am overly sensitive on this subject because I am constantly bombarded with awful rude remarks about the fact I have 3 daughters and haven't produce a male yet. The most recent was My husband, 3 daughters and I were at the mall. and a male employee felt…
  • Avocado is great in smoothies if you don't like the taste/texture. I love nuts, nut butter, coconut oil. You could also try adding flavor since you are not hungry. For example, one of my favorite breakfasts is one whole egg and 3 egg whites pan fried in coconut oil spray then sandwiched between an Ezekiel english muffin. I…
  • I need the real deal. The fake PB or PB2 just doesn't do it for me. I eat PB, Sunbutter, almond and hazelnut butter several times everyday. Usually its a tablespoon at a time added to breakfast or a protein shake. Plus I made protein snacks such as protein balls, bars and so on and they always include a nut butter. I just…
  • Support to me means not just supporting people who only think like me. I have friends in real life who have terrible eating habits but I would never stop being friends with them just because they didn't eat like me. My goal is to be an example both in real life and on this website to prove to people that you can eat, enjoy…
  • I didn't read the article but is this referring to what a man eats since its the sperm that determines the sex? If I have time later I might have to read this to see what it is trying to say. I know they say when you are pregnant with a boy you can eat more supposedly but since a woman has no control over what sperm is…
  • Are you still measuring/taking result pics? The reset has really freed me from the scale. My goal is now to lose as little scale weight as possible but lose as many inches as I can!. The more scale weigth, the more I can eat  I know theres still that part of me that will like to see the scale go down, but I know the…
  • While my calorie level is not as low as yours, I feel like I will definitely have to pull out some old tricks too.:grumble: I never had a problem eating my full TDEE, but by the end of reset I was very comfortable eating that amount while keeping my macros awesome! I am doing the 10% cut which is almost 300 cals less so…
  • Thats funny because I felt the same way when I started! I thought maybe I was enjoying it too much and I had to be doing something wrong! I am an over-thinker and I was actually going to just give it all up until I found EM2WL. I really just opened my mind and let them fill it and not think twice. Everything I had been…
  • Thanks ladies! I don't think I worded my last post right. I had originally thought that my cut at a higher weight was higher than my current TDEE but I did get on the scale and take measurements today. I put in my numbers and I was comparing the wrong boxes yesterday! I will stick it out until Sunday though:wink: I have…
  • This is us. We are pretty sure he has sleep apnea but he refuses to go get tested even though he is the first to say he needs it. Awesome job on your weight loss!
  • This is me and my Husband! He has worked third shift from 6pm to 6am for at least 12yrs. Before that he always had terrible insomnia. Even on his nights off (which can be rare since he works OT) we would try to sleep together but his snoring has gotten horrendous over the years (He even complains of it waking him up it so…
  • Because I am so excited about my cut starting Sunday, I decided to run my numbers through Scooby ust to see what I will be dropping to. I haven't weighed myself yet, I am saving that little gem for Sunday, but I took a stab and guessed a 5 pound gain (One can only hope, right?) At a 10% cut on moderate I will be eating at…
  • [/quote] Thanks Triple your comments helped me look into the future, to have soemthing to look out for, I appreciate it lots. I was just feeling like it was way to easy compared to what everyone else was saying so I must have been doing something wrong LOL but now I know to keep treking and soon enough I will be on here…
  • Forgive me if someone already caught this and commented, but thats not a diet break. Have you read all the stickies? A diet break is when you eat at your full TDEE for a week or two every 4,6 or 8 weeks. You still track but you are actually eating more than your cut. Many people (including me) also use this week as a full…
  • I was similar to you. I am taller though and was born muscular so I do add it on easy-ish which can be a good and bad thing. I Especially get bulky in my legs!:ohwell: I had zero problem jumping up from about 1400-1500 to 2700 in one day and while I did bloat some, I was in the beginnings of TOM territory so who knows. But…
  • I haven't tried it yet but you could look into Garden of Life Raw Protein. Its made up of varies raw grains not whey, pea or soy. I like plain no sweetener of any kind added in powder. The protein will be less, 17g but still better than nothing!
  • Great news, congrats! I agree with everyone else. Do your best to eat at TDEE the 1st trimester than up at least 300 for tri 2 and 3. Listen to your body and do the best you can, take it day by day!:flowerforyou:
  • So this is the start of week 8 and I have been really dreading getting on the scale next week. I know I have gained more than I should have because I went over TDEE too many times. Also during week 7 I caught myself thinking, oh well, have a little more you are at the end so screw up now while you can. Thats okay thinking…
  • That is fantastic! Good for you and your hard work! Definitely proof that even if you have an off couple of weeks, you can get back on it and keep seeing results!
