  • Alright, I am feeling a bit better...I know its only been a few days but I was feeling like this was going to continue! A person would think 2643 calories should be plenty!
  • lol, 600 is about what I left for today! A protein shake then room for more!
  • Thanks ladies! I guess I always see people saying that can't eat to their goal that I thought I was doing something wrong! I was hoping it was just some extra hungry days and it would pass......
  • I will shoot for that....I was spreading the calories out to help not make my main meals so huge and eating bigger snacks....today I was leaving extra room for more calories for tonight to see if that would help. I will work on that tomorrow, thanks!
  • Yes, I have my macros set up and I do usually come up just under my protein. The eating clean....well I have always been a clean eater. I have gotten cleaner through-out the years and it didn't really help me to lose weight. I was healthy, but always overweight. I still feel like I eat clean depending on what your…
  • Good for you! I agree, I have stayed away from the scale I have no need to get on it! Well, until I have to for when i need to re-do my calculations. I too just bought some clothes when I normally don't. And I bought them for today, not for "this will look so good on me when I lose fill-in-the-blank." Congrats!
  • I don't lift first thing in the morning, so I get loosened up after all the moving around and things I get done before I lift. I do stretch after my lifting. This works for me. I would think a 5 min warm up would be enough but I am no pro!
  • This is a hard one...I have to shop weekly and even then usually end up at the store at least once in between. Depending what I have run out of and what recipe I am trying I would say about $300 per week. That rarely includes my Husband. He works a lot and hates most leftovers. He is a fast food addict and eats about twice…
  • I don't know for sure....but I wonder with me anyway! I ate tons of broccoli, brussel sprouts (my fav) red cabbage (1 head per week), cauliflower (two heads every week) etc. every single day, just me eating that alone. Lots of the gassy vegetables on top of all the other vegetables I eat. I have cut back since I am not…

  • This isn't much of a recipe but its a great go-to snack: I take two hard-boiled eggs and cut in half. I don't like hard-boiled yolks so I toss them but you could eat them if you want. Then I take hummus and fill in the egg white hollows. I use 2 Tbsp total. You could probably mash the hummus and yolks together to make like…
  • Thanks, ladies! I take all the small positive changes I can get!

  • You look amazing! Great job!
  • I am really thinking you should do the reset first. You have come this far, you might as well go all the way! From all the other threads I have read, the people who started at 15% cut either saw zero change because they didn't do the reset or saw changes fairly quickly. I have been doing the reset after doing the 15% cut…
  • Peanut butter protein cookies: http://www.fitnessandspice.com/2010/12/peanut-butter-protein-cookies/ I am running low on PB so I used Sunbutter and I only used 1/4 cup sweetener (coconut palm sugar) because I don't need sugary sweet and most recipes I halve the sugar anyway. I also use Bob's Red Mill Whey Protein since I…

  • Exactly. I am in this for looking a certain way and wearing a certain size (The size of most of my closet!)
  • HAHAHAHAHA:laugh: I hear ya! But I did just buy some really cute flattering dresses for my trip in July and I feel good in them now, I am hoping to see some body improvements by then even though I am maintaining. Plus they will look even better when I start my cut and trim some fat! So if all else fails, go buy some cute…
  • Oh that would have been so hard if my doctor had given me a hard time about my weight... I do admit, I ate my way through my 1st pregnancy and ate out everyday for at least one meal. I was so hungry and could never feel satisfied. I remember how it wasn't even fun because I just wanted to not be hungry and not have to eat!…
  • Thanks, I am really hoping to see it in my arms!
  • Oh definitely! Once I seen that I am basically the same size and can wear all my same close after 3 weeks upping my calories to my cut and now one week in on my reset, I can't believe what I was doing to my poor body for years! No wonder I would gain so much weight so soon with all 3 of my pregnancies. My body was so happy…
  • I know someone who makes theirs kids birthday cakes but won't put frosting on it. Not for any dietary reason, just because she doesn't want her kids having much sugar. I am all for not having a lot of sugar and I actually enjoy my homemade cake so much I don't even think it needs frosting, which used to be the only reason…
  • This is why I can't wait to be a "success story". I do brag when I can that I went from eating 1200-1600 cals a day to 2600 and still wear the same clothes. If I have gained scale weight, I wouldn't know since I am staying away from that! Upping my cals up to that and not bursting out of my clothes to me is a success and…
  • I have made protein balls and replaced the milk powder with protein powder and they turned out great!
  • I keep reading that its better to be over than under. I hear you, I am the same! My carbs and fat are always over but mostly healthy fats and carbs. I seen Lucia say protein and sodium are the ones to watch and always hit your TDEE mark so now I worry much less and while I definitely keep trying to work on a good balance,…
  • I think you should definitely increase up your TDEE. I see Lucia repeat it over and over that people underestimate all the time. Right now I have mine set at I believe 5-6 days strenuous but I do go back and forth on if I should go up one more. I am sure I always get 6 hrs a week and maybe more.... but I am also trying to…
  • Almost a full week into reset! I still feel big and bloated, but last night I went to dinner with some friends and since it turned chilly I threw on some jeans. They weren't tight! In fact, a bit baggy! I can't imagine I have lost plus I'm getting into TOM territory so I know that is part of it but swim lessons for my…
  • There are all kinds of variations of protein balls. I even have sunbutter protein balls in my fridge now. Almond or hazelnut butter is great, too. Here is a recipe I have been using lately: http://chockohlawtay.blogspot.com/2012/05/chocolate-peanut-butter-protein-balls.html It doesn't make very many but it takes few…
  • Good, now I won't feel so bad when I go over. 50 cals or so doesn't make me flinch but 100 or so does:ohwell:
  • Great ideas! I am doing a new routine and forgot about the pull ups but I am stuck at home and can't run up to the store! Although using a tree branch sounds pretty bada** right now :glasses: We are temporarily renting until we move out of state so I can't do anything permanent, but the bands would work or I'll look into a…
  • Its been a few years but I think they did do that in P90x. What if I did some renegade rows?
