Congrats to you all!!!

I'm officially ending this challenge, but in my head it has been the goal date of my son wedding late in Sept. Currently I'm 2 lbs shy of my goal. SW: 165 (for this challenge) CW: 147 GW: 145 so onward I go

GW: 145 CW: 148.3 I gotta say, being consistent is what works for me. I eat essentially the same food every day. I mix it up a bit, but not much. Then I exercise, regardless. I need to exercise on Saturday's as well to get the last 3.3 lbs off!!

Finally! GW: 145 CW: 149.4

Weight hasn't budged in two weeks! Ugh. I'm going to have to step up the exercise.
-
SW: 220 CW: 150.6 GW: 145 5.6 lbs to go!! Whoop!!

I'm glad you all have kept this going. I apologize for not keeping up. I have several neurological conditions and was having a bad spell. But I'm back and I'm please to post this: SW: 220 (2008) GW: 145 CW: 154 I have only a little over 9 lbs to go!! YEAH!!

Cyndikay2003, It does get harder as we get older. Be consistent day to day. I try to get in an extra walk a few days a week. Just 30 minutes more. I eat low carbs and lots of fresh produce. I have one day a week, usually Sunday, that I go over my calories. Rotating, two really low cal days with two normal (1200) days,…

All it takes to join this challenge is to post your Starting Weight (SW), Current Weight (CW), and Goal Weight (GW). Try to post weekly at least, where you're at. If measurements are a goal for you, post those too.

Welcome to our new challengers! Having a tough time losing any weight. I have to increase my exercise /activity. Ugh.
-
Soypup, Try using a pure Stevia for a sweetness. I don't like to use the word "sweetener" because Stevia is a natural herb...like parsley is a herb. I prefer "Sweet Leaf" stevia brand, because it doesn't have anything added to it. I also eat a LOT of fresh fruit. Find what's in season that you like and eat that. Cherries,…

May 18 status SW: 162 CW: 160 This is going painfully slow. Ugh. I increased my activity last week which helped my weight, but my bad knee was not wanting to play. So I had to give it a rest over the weekend. Now...slow again. I don't know how to eat less calories without just starving.
-
SW: 220 (2009)I kept this off for six years, but some health issues preventing me from working out and I made some poor food choices during a very stressful time (since Thanksgiving). Onward we go! CW: 160 GW: 143

Hang in there Sanamm22! Be consistent and you will see results!
-
ViggieFuss, Not if you think you can do it! :-) Welcome!
-
I don't think it's a bad habit. I need to be reminded every day.

I have the same problem with carbs. I am a celiac so I don't eat much processed foods ever. I was told recently I have arteriosclerosis in my abdomen. They found it from a unrelated CT scan. So eating cholesterol right now seems like a bad idea. I'm eating 3 oz of chicken breast every dinner. Even with all the new science…

Feeling discouraged. I haven't even lost an ounce yet since I started this challenge. I'm tracking everything, imcreasing exercise and nothing!! :/

Welcome to all our new folks! Yes, to all of you for this being doable! For the guys it's even easier because guys typically have more muscle mass to burn the fat. Let's do this thing! Today and every day. I was able to walk 56 minutes today on my treadmill. It has a desk attached (my husband made for me) so I can…

Julia, Can you break up the exercise through out your day. 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there, etc. I saw a treadmill online, that sits under a desk that looked great. "Cubii", I think it's called. I'm on disability because of the neurological stuff or I'd get this thing. I've seen cheap old fashioned types of these pedal…

I think we're about a week into this (for those who joined the first day anyway). How is everyone doing? I didn't weigh myself till today. Not good, but it's about what I expected which is why I said, 20 lbs by Sept. SW: 220 (in 2009) Can NOT let that happen again! CW: 162 GW: 143 How is everyone doing?
-
Ewunia, I find the more nutrient dense foods I get in the less snacking I do. Not instantly. But my body finally feels satiated and I'm not hungery between meals. Lots of veggies.
-
You all are doing great! I know we can all learn from each other. I have two neurological conditions (ataxia & dystonia), that I'd like to use as an excuse to not work out, but I'm not going down easy!! I'm 59 and yes, it gets harder with each passing year. I set my goal at 1200 calories. For me I maintain my weight with…

Today: Below calorie count and 40 minutes on treadmill. I'm going to have to increase the time on treadmill very slowly as I don't want any injuries. I'm doing 3.5 miles per hour. I'm 59 years old and the knees and feet aren't what they use to be since I use to be a runner. How are you all doing??
