We tried something similar a few weeks ago and they were really good. I made them in the microwave. I may think about doing these this week though. I love ranch!!!

Nutrition is always a big help. :) Also it would be awesome if beachbody made it so you could sample Shakeology before paying the large amount of money. ;) I really wanted to try it but after finding out the price I backed down. LOL

Ok thanks will check that out. :)

that's where the pork rinds came in for me. I also had a horrid headache for 2 days but after that I was fine. :)

Yes ten times over yes~!!!!!! I went low carb high fat. It works believe it or not. I've lost about 4" in my lower ab. since last month. I can easily fit into an xl capri or shorts. I kinda feel like if I could use that fat down there my boobs would be perky and I'd even be happy if they added some into my flat butt. LOL…

I personally don't eat more than 60g of carbs a day. But you have to find what works for you. My day usually goes Homemade muffin or fried eggs salad or meat and veggies pepperoni chips, almonds, etc (something simple as I'm still at work for p.m. snack) veggie, meat, and small carb (usually all my carbs come from…

So as long as I stay in that range and make sure most of my carbs are from veggies and fruits I should still be fine??? Atkin's works but with my diabetes meds its hard to keep that low all the time. I needed a plan that works for me; not against me. ;) Any advice?

I'm in my goal is to loose 5lbs before 25th of June. We have a vacation coming up in which we have about 4miles of walking!

That sounds awesome. Where did you find the sauce at???

Sounds yummy! :) Will have to try this.

First off good luck on your journey and yes it is a journey!!!!! ;) I think we tried everything under the sun from positions, meds, tests, herbs, etc... I took Clomid 100mg round one and got pregnant but miscarried at 7wks. (By this time it had taken us 3yrs of trying and I spent a few days in bed wallowing in pity.) Next…

I'm totally addicted to Skippy Natural peanut butter (creamy). I think I could eat it all day with every meal but have rationed it off. LOL For a couple of weeks a month I want even buy it because a tub only last one week here!!!! :)

Ok so here's my advice. Try logging everything for a few days. Maybe your fat content is not high enough? I mean lean meat doesn't have that much and depending on the beef etc it changes. :) good luck and here if you need me!!!

I personally like candian bacon for breakfast as its quick to fix. Also I added in almonds some mornings (even though its not on induction) and I tend to try assorted things. Hope you get good advice on all ideas to try. Good luck!

Atkin's.com has a lot of low carb recipes. Everything I have tried off there has been really yummy. Were quiet fond of Atkin's Macho Ancho Chili its very filling and even my picky 5yr old loves it. My hubby asked for it again this week! Which in itself says something since he's a meat and tater man (LOL). Also check out…

:flowerforyou: Welcome ladies. If you interested there is an Atkin's group here on MFP & also a low carb forum. Good luck on your journey; I started low carb under 2months ago and I've seen tons of a change in health and happiness.

I don't normally add things but saw this and couldn't help myself......... "Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do????"

The atkin's bars have sugar alcohol in them. Your suppose to subtract that from the carb count. I do not like the sobe lifewaters as I found they had a funny after taste. (but then it could just be me! LOL) Anyways I would think they would be ok on induction but as someone pointed out to me too much sugar alcohol may stall…

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I've started fixing candian bacon on some mornings and others cream cheese and protein bar. :) I guess it will just take some time. I like eggs but don't know about eating them everyday. ;)

^^^^^love this because its the truth! My cholesterol went from 234 to 126 in 7wks just by cutting carbs and increasing fat. Most days I try to keep protein under fat level as well! ;)

Welcome and :flowerforyou: Hi! I too tried the kit and read the information and thought I could do this!!! I did 2wk induction and then switched it up to my liking (I have a young child and work full-time) Anyways we tend to eat out once a week for those reasons. It was pretty easy to start off with. I did have headaches…

As someone else stated no two people are alike. I was eating around 150 + carbs daily and was staying the same weight. My doctor recommended an Atkin's related carb goal. (google Atkins) anywho I tried the stricter version of Atkin's last month and did okay but found it wasn't completely with my liking. After tweaking…

Welcome to the group and congrats on making the change to be the healthiest you can be!!! I've been where you are at in my PCOS journey and I can tell you just to put one foot in front of the other; and never give up. :drinker:

Ok so going to get back on track today. Pre-logged my food so when I look down I realize I've got this! LOL Thanks for the encouragement. :)
-
My weakness would be chocolate and pasta. Although the pasta craving aren't as bad now as when I started out on Atkins. I still have days I struggle with chocolate though. I usually just go straight to sugar free pudding or something though and its ok. :) Good luck but it sounds like you've got this!!!!

Awesome job!!!!! :)

Yes too much protein can lead to a mini-stall. Somehow or another I know that our bodies progress an abundance of protein as a carb. It just digests slower than regular carbs. Looking back at the atkin's diet I think its no more than 6oz with meals. Although someone else might have better info as we know I'm new at this…

After work today will definitely check this out. Thanks :) love trying new mini workouts each week its kinda exciting. I did wall squats yesterday and tried to show my daughter how to do mason twists. LOL
