  • Thanks ya'll. :) I used tenderloin last night after posting this topic and grilled it like I would beef strips and served with tomatoes, onions, cheese, and lettuce on a tortilla shell. It was great!!!
  • Everyone's body is different and therefore reacts different to hormones, implants etc. Some people do well and others like myself didn't do well at all! The implanon added into other issues helped my weight go up 40lbs in 4years. I just got mine out this year and also had to have hysterectomy so i'm starting at square one.…
  • You are a strong woman!!!! :) I'm 27 and had partial hysterectomy in June. feel free to add me if you'd like. Cancer is a scary word, I pray that they got all the cells and your recovery continues to go well. Remember one day at a time.
  • I'll friend you!!! LOL  Hope you get more supportive friends to add to the list. I always say the more the merrier! Also people shouldn't judge others because the path they have traveled is different. Talk soon. *PS your doing a great job getting back on track~
  • Red totally looks good on you!! :) You look stunning. YOU GO GIRL :drinker:
  • Nice going; congrats :drinker:
  • Why not add in some carbs (ie. fruit, or even one ounce of pasta etc..) for one week and see if you feel better. I notice that on the metformin that keeping under a certain amount of carbs does make me crave anything with carbs in it! :) I hope this helps you out. GOod luck
  • Ok first off congrats on the BMI :) I was slightly overweight when I took clomid so can't really help you there. Second I think (its been about 5yrs since I took clomid) that I took provera for 2-3months before hand so we knew my body was ready. I did ovulate on first round (100mg) and did conceive but miscarried due to…
  • In today's world there are a lot of things that help or hinder your fertility journey. I say this because I spent 3.5yrs trying out everything I could to get pregnant. A great help is ovulation kits. Check at Wal-Mart usually around 10.00 for one month kit. This will help to determine if you are ovulating every month. Also…
  • Great going!!!! :) Congrats on the amazing progress. Remember that you are strong, you are wise, and you are un-stoppable! :flowerforyou: I went through clomid, test after test, miscarried 2times and had a stillborn. I never gave up and was rewarded with a beautiful daughter in 2009 after a hard pregnancy (21wks bedrest,…
  • I have diabetes so I feel like I crave carbs all the time! LOL Metformin didn't really have that effect on me; but everyone is different. I do find that if you pair protein with minimal carb intake it makes your craving less. Also I try to eat around 100-150carbs daily but then again it depends on you. I wish I could offer…
  • CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNACY. HAVE YOU HAVE A SAFE AND DELIEVERY! :) GOD BLESS~
  • Not all carbs are bad! Keep in mind its better to receive your carbs from fruit than white starches. I have taken a lot of nutrition classes over the past year and all of them are the same. Pairing your carbs whether its a side of corn or whatever with protein like lean turkey and adding in a free food (ie.…
  • :flowerforyou: And (((CLAPPING)))) Your amazing~ Congrats on hitting the 200lb mark. Its wonderful. I hope you continue to do well and I know you'll meet your goal. Keep it up!!!
  • She's had amazing progress and all its taken is hard work and eating right! :)
  • You sound like I did a few years ago. :) I was TTC and found out I had diabetes and it started feeling like one thing after another. After trying Clomid and miscarrying I did conceive on my own (lost 27lbs) but that pregnancy ended in stillbirth. Then lost more weight (17lbs) and conceived my daughter who is now 4yrs old.…
  • I recommend "PCOS the hidden epidemic." Its by Dr. Thatcher its an older book but it has amazing information and breaks it down into chapters. Everything from eating right, TTC, options, weight loss, etc... :) As far as the stomach goes I've heard that the hips and the mid belly are the toughest place to loose weight. :( I…
  • :drinker: yeah!!!!!!!!!!! congrats one step closer to your goal :)
  • Thank for you input it makes me feel good knowing i'm not alone in this crazy life! :) I hope you continue to improve and get back on track soon. As for me i'm going to take it one day at a time! God bless

  • I wanted to add if you need friends you can add me as well. God bless :) Hope this inspires at least one woman...
  • Thank you very much all the thoughts and prayers are very much needed :)
  • My best advice is to take one day at a time! Emotionally you'll have your good and bad days; physically sometimes you'll feel like giving up. DON"T you can will get through this. Try heat for the physical pain and ibprohen(sp?) for the aches. The best emotional advice I can give you is talk it out. When I was first told…
  • I'M JUST SO HAPPY FOR YOU :) I CAN'T SAY CONGRATS ENOUGH!!!
  • Definantly take it with food. I suggest if its twice a day once at breakfast and once at supper. All doctors are different but it definantly cuts down on GI issues! I've been on it for awhile started out for PCOS issues and now for diabetes it does well if taken the right way. :)Good luck~
