9 miles today which brings my tally to just under 24 miles so far.

Walked 3 miles today in constant fear of meeting a mountain lion.... Celebrated survival with a lovely slice of Julian apple pie. Oh dear. Planning to do 10 miles on the beach tomorrow to make up for the pie. Better watch out for jellyfish

Made up for a few days not walking with 9.5 miles today. Note to self: wear sunscreen next time.....ouch!

I'm Ellie, a Brit living in southern California. I'm pretty active in the evenings and weekends, training for a half marathon and a member of a triathlon club but I'm joining this group to get moving during weekdays. It'll be a good opportunity to get through some books on tape that have been on my iPod for years.
