This! Boobs, belly, not so much in the hips and thighs! Finding jeans to fit is hard - they fit in the hips and thighs but then I can't button them. Frustrating....

I completely stalled out eating 1200 per day and not eating exercise calories. Now I'm at 1350 and eating back calories and losing again.

Often times I look at the poster's ticker. If they post something that seems iffy to me and have lost 0 pounds, and someone on the other side of the question has lost 100+, guess who I'm most likely to believe......

Today is day 5 of not smoking! I think I'm going to make it this time! I'm also carefully logging all my calories - I do not want to gain weight and don't see any reason why I would.

I'm 5'5" and 56 years old. I started at 153 lbs. My goal right now is 130 and then I'll re-evaluate to see if that works or lose another 5 lbs.

Why buy it? Just pull the grill off the BBQ! I'm sure it would be just as effective.....

This also worked for me. 1200 is way too low even eating back my calories so I upped them to 1350. I was stuck for a while and now the pounds are coming off again as well as the inches.

And definitely eat back those exercise calories. Maybe even up your calories a bit. That worked for me.

This is what happens to me too. Just keep plugging along. And be sure to take your measurements - while the scale may be going up and down, its a good bet those inches are coming off.

1200 is probably too low and definitely eat back those exercise calories! You have to fuel those workouts!

I had baby number 4 when I was 42 years old. I have grandchildren that are older. Only you can decide when/if you're ready to have children!

I'm 5'5" and aiming for 130. I'll see how I look and feel and adjst it from there.

Eat more. You are eating way below 1200 calories! Be sure sure to eat back your exercise calories as well. Your body needs fuel for those workouts. I'm about your age and we look to be about the size.... I was also eating at or below 1200 and I stalled big time. I raised my calories to 1350, eat back the exercise calories…

I'm 56 and just started. I'm absolutely thrilled when I can do 30 minutes on the elliptical! You'll get more endurance the longer you do it. And you've lost 13 lbs! You're way ahead of me! Just keep on doing it.

Please don't be sorry! You shared great tips. As you know there are always people who will argue regardless of which side of the question they're one. You can't please everyone, but the people who needed the tips you offered are grateful and happy for a reasonable way to get through holiday meals. :flowerforyou:

You guys are KILLING me! I've been trying all afternoon to figure out what to have for dinner. I have over 600 calories left. I guess it'll be burger!
