Its the ADDED sugar you need to worry about, not naturally occuring sugar from fruits and vegetables. You need to be eating at least 1200 a day to fuel your body.

56 years old and I live in Santee, California a suburb of San Diego.

Drink tons of water. I found a glass of 2% milk before bed stops those leg cramps. (That's what my Dr. suggested and it worked.)

A housecat! Not mine though, he only weighs 7 pounds....
-
Sorry you feel that way. I learned a bit from this thread and I'm always interested in expanding my knowledge.

I'm a family law paralegal and have been for over 19 years. So I spend most of my day at a desk although I do get up and walk around as much as I can.

Good to know! So potassium can offset sodium (at least to some extent)?
-
Sounds like you may be really sensitive to sodium. I know that if I go over on the sodium I retain pounds of water for weeks, it seems.
-
Stress, portion size and menopause! Put on 30 pounds over the past three years.
-
This. Cheating just screws up everyone's lives.

I'm 5'5", starting weight 154, currently 142 and I would like to get to 120. I want to get out of Large size, and size 12 clothing and back to a size 6 or 8 and get rid of the mommy pouch.

California but SoCal. I live in San Diego.
-
It works for me. Why would you limit yourself to 1200 when you can eat much more and still lose weight? 1200 is not sustainable in the long run.

Juliet Blackwell, E. J. Copperman, Victoria Laurie, Sofie Kelley, J.D. Robb, Carolyn Hart, Earlene Fowler, Robert Crais to name just a few. Go to Goodreads.com - its all about reading and authors!

2:15 pm - 767 calories.

I log everything I eat or drink. No exceptions. Ever. Otherwise what would be the point? I know what I ate, I'm not trying to impress anyone so I'd only be lying to myself.

This. the Garnier Fructis Style Cream works the best of any product I've ever used.

I love the weight loss shows. I find them inspiring and I love seeing people succeed.
-
You aren't losing because you aren't fueling your body. You have to EAT, and eat back at least half of the exercise calories. Your body is in survival mode because you don't eat enough to sustain any weight loss.
-
Hi - I looked at your diary and your calorie intake seems really low. Maybe check into Eat More to Lose More. It works. Very best of luck to you!
-
I'm glad I read this. I feel the same way lately.

I'm having the same problem but without the food splurge. I stay within my calories, drink tons of water but yet I keep fluctuating five pounds. Its frustrating and I don't know what to do about it.
-
Me too!! Four babies over an 18 year period did in the belly!
-
Single in San Diego and I like it that way!

I've never been a breakfast person but I make sure I eat every morning. Now I have my oatmeal and berries nearly every day. I love it!
-
Thank you for posting this today. I've been frustrated with the yo-yoing scale over the past few weeks and it helped to read this.
-
56 and struggling at the moment!
-
I'm on Goodreads more than I'm on here! Also have a Nook and a lot of lendable books.

This. Call your local bar association. They usually offer at least a 30 minute free consultation. Find out what your rights are before you go any further. It is imperative you do that as soon as possible!
