I'm interested in rowing but not sure I could fit a rowing machine in my home and I don't have gym membership. I did see that one of the Wii fit games has rowing and you can get the rowing dohicky for it. Has anyone tried it? I'd be interested in hearing opinions.

1200 calories is too low for your body to function properly. Check your BMR and adjust it from there. And yes, eat back those exercise calories to fuel your workout.

I like to work out at night. I figure out what I'm having for dinner, check out my food diary and then exercise for the extra calories. :)

I've been through the same situation. My son has rules, chores and treats me with respect. My step children were violent, lazy, rude and disrespectful. I started out losing about a pound every five days but then I stalled out for few weeks. I upped my calories and added new exercise routines and now I'm back on track. I've been on here for a little over 45 days, SW 158, CW 147, GW 130.

I felt like I got a good workout. It was confirmed this morning when my legs felt like spaghetti and my hips and midsection were sore. But I also woke up totally energized and in a great mood!

I started the kettlebell body shred yesterday and I feel the same way! I got in the car this morning and almost couldn't put in the clutch because my legs feel like spaghetti! My body is so sore! BUT I also work up feeling great! Good mood and totally energized, maybe that is a by-product.

Would you consider opening your food diary? If we look at it, it may help. Are you drinking enough water? Eating too much sodium? Eating back your exercise calories? Don't give up, it may need to be just tweaked a bit....

Happened to me too. I upped my calories to 1330 and eat back exercise calories and its working again. I was 1200 which is just way TOO low.

My 14 year old son made candied bacon a few nights ago. I grabbed a couple of slices before he got it to it and had a bacon, egg, cheese, tomato sandwich. I stayed within my calories. :bigsmile:

I tried some Wylers pink lemonade (o calorie),one packet to two gallons of water. I've never been fan of sweets or sodas, I usually drink water. What I found is that 16 ounces of Wylers made me feel really bloated. I don't get that feeling with water. I won't be drinking the Wylers again.

I've had the same problem with trying to figure out how to log exercise. Some of it I don't even know how to classify! Core training, kettlebell? What is that exactly? I watch this thread to see if anyone has suggestions.
