Personally, the best and easiest advise is to eat 100 calories more than your BMR, and then do not eat back exercise calories. So eating at 1411 ensures that your body is getting enough food and nutrients it needs to maintain normal function. Then any calories you spend on exercise is what you will lose. I agree that you…

I weigh in every few days. I was up .6 this morning, but no one should beat themselves up. Remember 3500 cals is roughly equal to 1 lb. So unless you ate 10,500 cals OVER maintenance in the last couple days, those "3 extra lbs" you gained are prolly just sodium and general fluctuation...

I agree to a certain stand point that pic 2 could be a stand tall flex pic, but also her *kitten* looks was more defined..more so i use it for a guide for skinny fat girls to understand that you might weigh more, but the muscles act as a corset so you'll look thinner. Or for girls to understand that tone up means gain…

Looked at ur pic closer and you already have muscle definition...remember the human body needs some fat. you already seem to be eating great and get plenty of exercise...Everyone fluctuates..ur never going to be 100lbs every day of the week
-
Dont get caught up on weight, if that picture is of you..well you look amazing..Why do you feel your UGW should be 100? Are you looking to "tone up" which is essentially building muscle to have a hard sleek body? Should that be the case, which i think a lot of already thin people want, you need to lift weights, and ur…

I'll be taking the day off. Hopefully all the cooking offsets my eating lol I dont need to obsess everday...you need to learn to live life without MFP and still make good choices

Ran for 12 mins and hated it..but I did it anyway

Yes you can lose weight without "working out" will you get the best results the fastest? No of course not. I'm not sure what you weigh or how much you want to lose but it can be done. Your body is made up of fat and lean muscle mass. Basically you want to try and keep as much lean muscle as you can (or gain) and lose the…

I agree with some of the earlier posts. Lift heavy weights, do some cardio. Chances are you are unhappy about your body fat percentage than you are about your weight. You shouldn't really strive for a certain set of measurements. Just eat healthy, high protein, work on getting stronger and developing more muscle tone. It…

I have this from time to time. Much lower in my stomach than heartburn would be. I just kinda assumed it was just one of those things that happens from time to time. usually doesnt last too long

Doing no exercise I would say you should eat no less than 1500. If you're exercising 1-2 hours a week 1800, 3-5 hours a week 2000. Your body needs a certain amount of calories just to keep your vital organs up and running as well as your hormones and various levels at optimum level (cortisol, leptin, etc) I stated at the…

Good for you for looking into this wonderful healthy eating lifestyle!! It can take time to show results, but heres the thing. TDEE - 20% with cardio and lifting weights is about FAT LOSS not WEIGHT LOSS. You might not see the scale move mountains, but you will see inches lost! Im 5'6, 260lbs. I've only lost 20lbs since…

Just incase anyone is interested... On a typical week I go to the gym 3 days a week Sun, Tue, & Thurs. I lift weights first. Use an app on my phone called JEFIT. It has tons of different moves you can do with dumbbells, weight machines, cable machines, exercise ball etc. Sundays I work Shoulders & Legs, Tue Biceps,…
