I did that two years ago. I made it 2-3 weeks. I definitely admire anyone who follows the Ramadan fasting now.

I am new to this challenge and am a working, single mom for two kids. Something has to get me to move more though. I am in for 35 miles. I hope to beat that badly, but I will have to start somewhere.

Looks like a gyro would be the closest thing in the US. It would only be lamb and served in Greek places. Cucumber sauce (zatziki?) and lettuce, maybe a tomato.
