if your concerned about a lot of calories, don't eat nut butter or the jam or the sugar. I would use 1/2 milk 1/2 water to cook your oats, and add in some berries. (you probably should add some other kind of protein too) and for natural sweetness, sprinkle in some cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla

LOL you don't want healthy skin and shiny hair? Just saying. In this case, if its good for your dog, why isn't it good for your?

Basically what is happening is that your body first runs through its glycogen stores (glycogen holds water. For most people, its around 5 lbs) before your body starts burning your fat. But hey, your getting closer to burning it off, so keep up the good work!

Definitely ranges from about 1 hr - 8 hrs. If I'm lazy or have a cold, it tends to be the 1 hour, and then I either do an hour of cardio every day when I'm really into cardio or do 30 minutes cardio and 1 hr weights around 4 days a week. Plus when I am sticking to my weekly hot yoga class, its and 1.25 hours

There are lots of low carb bread type products. I would suggest going to a health food store for diabetic people. That or I am sure you can order online. Or make your own. Look up some recipes.

This is kind of weird but I LOVE trail mix.... and banana bread.... and if someone offers me chocolate, hah like Im gonna say no.... Actually chocolate. I have some kind of chocolate EVERY day. Even if its hot chocolate or chocolate protein bar, pretty sure I always have cocoa at some point. I've already had a chocolate…

Pork Rinds are actually soooo good (I know it seems weird but just try it). Skinny Pop (Popcorn, but it comes proportioned which I find a big help to avoid over eating and tracking how much I am eating) I also like snap pea crisps, hippie chips (their sooo delicious) I've also tried sea snax which were pretty tasty (their…

that "eat this much" site is awesome!

You said money isn't a problem, so buy more fresh fruit or whatever it is that they also love. If your kids are going for healthy food, that's a positive thing! And don't label that stuff as diet food. Its food you should be eating all the time!!! If money is an issue try buying some seasonal fruits. If your kids seem to…

Lol I mean thank you everyone...

Thank you both for your advice. @NikiSchurzFitness thank you, that is definitely a help. I just needed some ideas, sometimes I forget how normal people eat lolz @vismal I get what your saying, I just wanted a meal plan as a base idea, I'll still be logging all my meals according to what I truly eat, and adjust to what I…

Okay sooooo NO I don't think you should be eating more animal fats. There are other kinds of fat.... aka Nuts, Virgin Coconut Oil, Avocados. Try those. As for cholesterol, and your regularity problem, try some oatmeal but make with twice the water. Oatmeal has been shown to lower cholesterol and definitely helps move…

Or you could try bulletproof coffee... aka basically butter in your coffee. Don't know if it even tastes good, but it would be warm, and it would help you get in more calories

Not to rude, but kids grow up and get marketed alcohol toward them. Just because someone tells you to buy something, people need to be smart enough to make good choices

My plan is to make sure I start with a protein packed breakfast... probably a few eggs, scrambled up with a large amount of spinach and mushrooms around 10/11 (start a bit later). Then probably lunch around 2-3, maybe a big bowl of chunky homemade vegetable soup. Then probably an afternoon session of 10 minutes cardio to…

I would say that you are probably not quite accurately logging. Use measuring spoons/cups to measure liquids, condiments, spread that are compact like milk or butter. Use a scale to weigh things like croutons. (Also one thing I discovered, just because a package says a piece of bread/ a bun is one serving, if the nutrition…

I'd also check on a different scale to make sure yours isn't broken (like if there is one at the gym where you lift) Cause yea, scales can go wacky, and it would be a nasty surprise to find out later on.... Also any loss is most likely muscle, but I have no idea what your activity/ food intake is like so I have no clue.

Well. I have apparently fallen into the "trap". I legitamitely was convince that you could have kidney problems with excessive protein. But then I researched for a minute, and apparently there is not any real proof that it does anything to your kidneys (of a healthy adult)..... Good thing, because I love protein bars,…

DON"T BUY PROCESSED "HEALTH" FOOD Sure, its gonna take time to make meals, but if you want the healthiest options, at the cheapest price, you gotta do the work.

Nutella, Baked Goods, Bread, and Candy, Chocolate, Nut Butters and Ice cream (I know long list) I try to avoid even starting to eat certain things, because I will binge/overeat them. (Specifically Nutella and Nut butters) Ice cream I can have it is a singly portioned treat, but not when there is a big container of it,…

Probably should have clarified, everything I eat is in food diary. The only thing is I move it to the next day if I have eaten too much. I wear a heart rate moniter and burn off the foods i eat that put me over my limit (which I know is dumb). If I still have excess, I move it to another day and try and eat less/ excercise…

Don't really eat anything that strange now but used to eat: mustard and ketchup, mixed together, by itself peanut butter and honey or cornsyrup or jam mixed together by itself microwaved cheese by itself maple syrup on bread (not toast, just bread to the point of sogginess) combinations of becel flour (and/or cocoa) sugar…

This is the perfect time to NOT cutback. Eating is not just about nutrition. There is a social aspect to some of this stuff. Your with your friends, try to enjoy yourself. That might be partially why alarm bells are going off in your head (as I know it certainly happens to me), sometimes eating these kind of things that…

Hey, Just my 2 cents. Chances are you might eat a lot once in awhile. If you are legitamitely feeling out of control when you eat, then I would suggest bringing it up with your therapist and parents. Try if you can to call someone if you feel like you are in the middle of a binge, or after if you need someone to make you…

I looked into your food diary. A few things could be causing this increase in heartburn. 1.Fats aren't super high but if they have increased from previous it could cause this. 2. You eat a lot of sodium. I dunno if its just me, but I find if I do this, it can bother my stomach 3. Tomatoes!!! You have tomatoes and ketchup…

Too cook an egg in the microwave, crack egg open into a microwave safe container - microwave on high for 30 seconds If more than one egg, I suggest microwave on high for 30 seconds, check on it, 10-15 more seconds... check on it. Repeat till cooked. You can also do scrambled eggs in the micro this way (just mix up your…

Hello OP I think you need to understand what your priorities are here, are you trying to recover or are you trying to maintain your weight. TBH, there is a definite possibility that you will gain a bit in recovery INITIALLY But if you are at a healthy weight, I do not see any reason why once you start eating properly for a…
