You said you have an eating disorder? If this is the case, a doctor or nutritionist is probably gonna give you the best advice. Also I would say for the time being, if you are having troubles with binge eating: Make sure you properly split of your meals: (using 2400 calories) 600 calories for Breakfast 200 calories for…

Definitely need to have more fats for satiety. And more fruits/vegetables... Try for around 5 servings. Also are you making his diet match yours? I'm just wondering, as men typically need more food than women and more protein.... but I have no idea what your feeding him. So yea. Another thing, have him get involved in…

I think you know the answer to this.... Haha I would say, cut down the wine to a glass or two a day And cut down the coffee to 1 or 2 a day Drink more water too... Chances are you won't need as much coffee if you're not drinking as much wine the night before

bump .... deciding if my stomach wants the pain of artificial sweetners

Uncle Ben's express rice - 2.75 servings approx of rice in a package. Only takes 90 seconds in the microwave. Cheap. Low salt if you buy the unflavoured kinds. 130 calories per serving. Add some frozen veggies and a can of tuna or can of chicken or eggs (sounds weird but I think its yummy) or cheese Could even add spices…

Carbs do not hurt you.... PS, you should probably also have more fruits and/or veg. Grains have b vitamins and other good stuff... like fiber.

2 slices of bread (or pita or wrap) 2 tbsp of nut butter a bit of soft fruit (bananas or raspberries or even sliced apricots) in the middle Delicious sandwhich.... and healthy. Read that people who have nuts in their diet have sustained weightloss (don't gain as much back)

Daiya provolone cheese (just looked good on the packaging) melted it was tolerable but still kind of funky... and it had only 1 g of protein per slice....

I would say go up to maintenance for a bit of time, till you are actually maintaining (you might even lose a little) because this will even out your body fluctuating. Then once it evens out a bit, try to aim for only 1 lb of weightloss a week (only drop calories 500 calories below maintenance)

My tip... don't buy so many. When I have more than 10 kind of bars at home, I tend to end up getting really reliant on them. Need to eat more real food. It happens so easy to me though too, so I understand

My friend did this diet, its pretty low calorie. She did lose a lot of weight, but she has kept some strange eating habits. It is a very restrictive diet (while your on it) and she does not eat at restaurants or get anything when she meets up for coffee with people. The reason you can't excercise is because its already…

Veggie (with some meat) stirfry. and a bit of rice. Just a ton of veggies. And soup (normally around 1.5-2 servings fills me up) Protein bar for a quick, sweet snack. Hard boiled eggs. Apples (this is the best when I am really hungry, for some reason no other fruit fills me up as much as apples) Big bowls of oatmeal…

I don't know what the rest of your day looks like, but it looks like your low carbing it.... You have to do what works for you, but carbs are not evil, they play a huge role in having energy/filling you up. I would say, have all of that in small tortilla wrap... and some fruit.

THIS!!! 100% Agree

I recently have been eating more like 1500, kind of varies. Some weeks I just need more food. And I allow for that. If your having trouble sticking to lowered calories, try to eat a maintenance for a week or two. Or even a day or too. (But still track your calories) Adding in excercise is pretty awesome and can help alot.…

With Chopped up tomatoe and italian seasoning.... yummy! I occasionally get the premixed ones with fruit. Sometimes add in a sweet cereal (this probably seems weird but ohwell)

You didn't lose 5 lbs in one day. Why bother with detox tea? Wouldn't you rather have lasting weight loss. I would say if you are just starting the tea, it might be making you feel full. Maybe cut down the dose. I really would stick to make sure you are hitting 1200. It's too hard to maintain that low of an intake.…

1&2: count all the calories... your not leaving that much behind. 3: measure watermelon before you chomp on it, rind and all. Then once you've finished measure the left over rind. starting grams-rind grams= grams of watermelon you ate 4: do or don't count your black coffee. its up to you Bottom line: most people…

Accept it as what it was. Yes I do this lots, and stress about it. But I've tried to realize that this is a journey, and so what if it takes me a few extra days to lose 1600 calories (or about .5 lbs). Also you could also amp up your excercise over a few days (to whatever your comfortable with), This will also help with…

BTW, I just realized you may not be throwing up your meals, but just realize that if you eat to much, your not gonna compensate, because it will make you super malnourished (no matter what way you go about it)

OP, I know ya feel alone but your not. I am on the road to recovering from EDNOS (with purging/restricting). Aiming for 500 calories will never get you on the road to recover from bulimia. You need to see a doctor, or atleast slowly increase your daily calories, and if ya eat too much, accept that you are gonna keep it…

Banana would go pretty well with chocolate peanut butter.... just saying. You could try with greek yogurt. Or avocado (it doesn't have to strong of a taste)

To the OP, I get your trying to show that what is thrown at us isn't entirely accurate. I also understand that the reason that information is broken into a somewhat inaccurate, but simple way for people to understand. Honestly, I am sure your 100% right about everything you said, but the average person isn't going to know…

Most of the pasta that I tend to get has the nutritional info for dry. It typically is around 370 calories per 100 grams of dry pasta. So I would say yes, this is a major underestimation of calories. I would say (unless its made with really different ingredients than other pasta) weigh it before its cooked and track it…

No you shouldn't be hungry all the time at night. Kudos to you for being able to ignore your hunger, but I bet you aren't eating enough calories. (Maybe you are, but I have no idea) Also, a lot of people, myself included try to save calories for later in the day. I find when I do this, even though I eat a big meal at…

Yea wait for it to cool a bit and mix with just a tiny bit of water first, then stir it in slowly. My worst experience was adding protein powder to oatmeal while cooking it in the microwave... worst decision in my life, been scared to add it ever again but, I think I might try adding it after its cooked and let it cool a…

Wow, THIS!!! FIT does not equal skinny, FIT = HEALTHY

You do have a good point, control is a good thing. Besides if she has beans and salsa to dip the chips in, no matter what she subs them with, eating too much is gonna have some not so nice effects. But in the chance that she doesn't want something as processed or as salty, and is going to start watching the amount she…
-
Totally agree! Although if your having the beans and salsa with, I would say, you probably don't need the salt as much as you think you do. Try the cucumbers with and without salt, see if you really need the extra salt. Another idea, there is hummus chips and lentil chips (have more protein) and instead of salsa, have you…

GNC Total Lean Breakfast Sqaures are soooooo good. Atleast the cinnamon roll one is. 160 calories and I think it was 16 grams of protein I tried RawRevolution Spirulina bar.... loved it but its more of an energy bar, a lot of sugar. 230 cals 7 grams of protein Simply Bar - 150 ish and 15ish grams of protein Bounce balls -…
