thanks for your advise everyone, I have changed calorie goal to 1lb a week which is 1490, much more doable! Now i have just got to get off my lazy behind and exercise!

I wasnt sure what these were so just looked them up! There are a few quite negative reviews about the bodymedia, and its quite pricey. Have you tried lowering the amount of carbs you eat a day and uping the amount of protein? (No change in calories?)

I would like to lose 15 lbs ideally, thanks for the overestimate advise, I had no idea. Ill try eating back half and see what happens !

In most UK clothing size charts, my waist is about 2-3 sizes bigger than my hips. I think I store fat around my wwaist which I know is not good and need to change

Im new and my goals say 1200 cals a day to lose 2lb a week, I dont think I can do this! I will be miserable and give up, if I adjust to 1 lb a week it says 1480 cals a day, this seems much more realistic for me! Should I eat back my exercise calories though??

Thats what Im worried about!! I tried 1200 calories a day before and failed miserably, I think i might adjust mine to 1400 a day and eat back my exercise calories?

Hi, Im new to this! Im 5'9 and I currently weigh 150 lbs, getting married next december and i would like to weigh 135 lbs. The heaviest i have been is 154 lbs..... desperate to get back down to the 130's!!
