I was over 400 lbs before I started walking, and now I am 354 lbs (hence my username). Walking is a good total body workout, but like the quote stated, I'm gonna have to start some sort of weight training or I'm gonna be a skinny flabby mess once I reach my goal weight of 200 lbs. :laugh:

The sodium is the deal breaker with ramen noodles... but bang for the buck (like 25 to 35 cents), it is a tasty (salty) treat. I NEVER use the entire flavor packet... To be able to walk into ANY store (Sears, Kmart, Wal-mart, JCP, Target, etc) and get clothes!! I'm so tired of having to go to Big n Tall Casual Male & online. Slender ppl don't know how good they got it!!

You can add me, too. I was over 400 lbs before I started walking and 'somewhat' eating right. I am down to 354 lbs now and just joined MFP this week. It's great to get a visual on what you're consuming and having a few 'chunky-but-funky' friends makes the journey a little easier to endure. :smile:
