  • Started the week off right with my usual. It seems that I'm back on track with my am routine! Woot!
  • Woot! Third morning....hula hoop and some simple arms exercises this am.....feeling like I may be back in the swing of things :)
  • Starting off fresh, second morning getting up to do my 'mini routine' to get me back on track. This a.m. was 20 mins of pilates....crossing my fingers I can make it three in a row!
  • I'd recommended that anyone that has fit issues contact their local audiologist. There are pieces that can be custom made to fit right over the earbuds. They are super confortable and will last a long time. The audiologist will take an impression of your ear and then send them to a lab to make the custom buds. I have a…
  • Okay, so I guess I'm the strange one. Gave up soda in January and began to crave it come summer time and it still love, love, love it. Love. I do drink only diet sodas, so they don't have the sickly sweetness. I do find that I want to snack more when I drink diet soda, I guess it's an ingrained habit junk food and soda, so…
  • Tried something new this morning to help me get on the horse. I got up at my desired time and just sat....took my about a half hour get the cobwebs out of my head. I'm going to try this for a few days just to get myself back into the routine of the 6:15 rise. I think the key is that I haven't been getting to bed as early…
  • Hey all - I need to little support badly!! I took three weeks off for vacation and didn't stick to my usual schedule (sometimes hard to do on the road). Now I'm home and back at the work routine and can't seem to get myself back into my usual morning exercise. I had managed to get up a couple days in a row, but that's all…
  • Hi all! I'm back from my summer vacation only yesterday and I set my alarm for 6:15 this morning and I was up at at it! Did my usual hula hooping and added in a small circuit routine that I could handle (only basic like tricep dips, a reverse fly, superman pose, etc and left out the lunges...not ready for that yet...lol).…
  • I saw the title of this thread and I thought 'wow, that's for me'. All my friend know me as the morning person, and admire my ability to get a workout in before work. But after reading a couple pages of comments, I realize I am a light-weight! I get up about 6:30am and use a weighted hula hoop for a bit (working up in…
  • I think it's important to remember that it's one meal, one day. Tomorrow you eat well, just don't allow the negative thoughts to let you snowball one slip-up. I'm an emotional eater and binge from time to time. But I don't let a emotional binge on Wednesday turn into Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and on and on. That's what you have…
  • If it's coming from chafing, I'd recommend Monostat Soothing Relief powder gel. Its a gel that goes powdery soft when you apply it and it really helps with any itchiness or discomfort due to friction from clothing or other body parts.
  • I like Summer Fresh brand, either regular or light. And lately I've been eating my hummus with VitaVigor sesame breadsticks or Sobey's Pop Crisps (only 20 calories and they are huge!!!)
  • I'm not a runner, but I had chub rub on my thighs and I found any prolonged movement, ie walking, etc, painful. I found a product called Monostat Soothing Relief powder gel. When you rub it on it becomes very silky and you don't have rubbing.
  • I have the recipe posted by the OP, have made it and LOVE it! Was given the recipe by co-worker, who advised to cut back on sugar a little (which I did) and add more water (which I did). I've made it twice and it has come out well each time. The only thing is that this recipe begs and screams to be served with ice cream :(
  • Turkey and black bean chili, one toasted flour tortilla and strawberries :)
