Freeze 'em - that way none go to waste! I use frozen bananas for smoothies, banana bread or cupcakes, banana ice cream (already mentioned), and to make PB banana oatmeal. PB Banana Oatmeal - 1/2 frozen banana chopped, 1/4 cup oats, 1/2 cup water - microwave for 2:30 stirring half way through, then add in 1-2T peanut butter.

Avocado toast topped with overeasy egg

1/2 english muffin with 1T peanut butter, 1/4 cup oats prepared with water and 2T PB2 stirred in

Thanks! I picked up a copy for $28.83 including shipping from the UK to US.

Amazon must know I want to buy it because its been $85 on my end for the last two weeks. A month ago and all summer it was around $22.

I'm doing New Rules of Lifting for Women right now. The first program I did was a beginner dumbbell routine by Muscle & Strength, https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/dumbbell-only-home-or-gym-fullbody-workout.html Both of the others mentioned are on my 'to do' list though! The program you select may depend on your…

I have this trouble too. One thing that helps is protein bars from Costco. They have almost a days worth of fiber plus 21-22g protein for under 200 calories a piece.

I started with this program M&S Full Body Dumbbell Routine. I really liked the video how-to's and found the written instructions easy to follow. I ran the program for 11 weeks. I started with a set of adjustable dumbbells up to 20 pounds each, 40 pounds total (around $45-50 at Dick's Sporting Goods or Amazon). After I…

After I saw this post I gave these a try. Really like the chocolate brownie and cookie dough flavors. Seriously, if I am short on protein at the end of the day this is my new go-to given the low calorie count and dessert-ish flavor. Super glad I tried them. Last night I gave the peanut butter chunk a try. I expected it to…

You can definitely do this! And probably faster than you think. I had the same issue and thought I'd never be able to fix it. It only took around 4-5 weeks for me before people at work noticed that I was standing much straighter. My whole posture is much better too. I mostly focused on a couple of key exercises that I…

Not sure if this is a manual entry or not but it looks to me like 9 point eight steps was entered vs 9 thousand eight hundred steps. Can you edit the decimal out of the entry?

Well its only a two week diet break so trying to be accurate 'outta the gate'

I've been losing a bit more than 1/2 pound a week I've averaged .75lb/week over the last 30 days, and .9lb/week the month before. I've averaged 1556 calories/day over the last 30 days, and 1520 calories/day the month before. Maintenance should be 1970-1930?
-
That does make sense. I was thinking that calorie goal in MFP would adjust as I lost weight although mine never did. I've only lost 12 pounds so I assumed that the loss was too small to require a change. So this means that when I go back into 1/2 pound/week deficit I'll only have 1470 calories/day? Yikes - I'm hungry just…

Oatmeal with peanut butter and sometimes half a banana, peanut butter on english muffin, peanut butter in chocolate protein smoothie, peanut butter with cut up apples, peanut butter stirred into greek yogurt. This is one of my favorite peanut butter recipes, https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/239969/no-bake-energy-bites/

I do both! I don't follow either 'plan.' I started back in November only doing Insanity, usually four days on followed by a rest day. I choose my favorite videos and rotate them. I was dropping weight at a good rate so I slowed the pace to two days of Insanity followed by a total rest day. I felt like I had energy on my…

Banana ice cream with mini chocolate chips, smoothie with chocolate protein powder topped with crushed up snack size candy bar like heath, greek yogurt with chocolate protein powder and mini chocolate chips... Add a spritz of redid whip and any of these things seem like dessert while upping your fruit and protein intake
-
I do similar workouts several times a week and have the same challenge. What works for me is a large protein smoothie made with lots of ice, protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, and frozen fruit. Just a word of caution, I usually plan for the calories so I'm not eating anything 'extra' for the day... I switch up the…

I initially lost weight at 1200 calories - then it just stopped so I upped to 1400 and lose much better at that intake. I almost never eat back workout calories
-
Measure - either with measuring spoons/cups or weigh it...
-
Ditto on the splitting up your breakfast - I also do this. I eat at 7:30 and then again at 10am... and lunch at a normal time. Maybe that will help!
-
I'm on week 3 - I routinely do other 'workouts', yoga class, volleyball, 30-60min walks, hit the gym for 30-45 minutes of weight lifting/cardio - I always do the other workouts before insanity (with the exception of walking) as there is no way I'd have much energy left for the gym/volleyball after doing some of the longer…

I second the 'nibble dish' idea someone else suggested - mine has cashews, dried cranberries and dark chocolate baking chips for about 135 calories. I take it to work every day and pick from it when I think about grabbing one of the other snacks left out at work (donuts, candy, you name it).

The chest strap goes under the girls - not over... 85 cals in 12 minutes is 425cals/hour - that's a good number. I can't understand the 255 that mfp gave you, that doesn't seem reasonable for 12 minutes. Keep at it, I just got hrm (the polar f4) and find it pretty motivating
-
I've never been able to lose eating (gross) 1200 calories per day - as soon as I bump up to 1400 I start losing, maybe 1200 is not enough for you
-
I have always wondered about that... thanks for posting.

ETS - Sorry thought I was Quoting! My post was Gross Cals

I'm 5'5" - I found that eating 1400+/- is a pretty good place for me to maintain my goal weight of 120, which I'm not at right now but I have been before. That includes working out, walking, cardio, lifting weights 1 hr/day, 5 day/wk

Sending... btw, how do folks get their weight loss tracker on their posts?
