  • I've been using the BM going on 2 years. I don't sleep in it. When I remove it at night or whenever I do have indention but when I wake in the mornings I no longer see it but do see a white ring due to sun exposure.
  • Hello Diane and welcome. Sometimes the smallest steps will get you the farthest. MFP tracking will help you along the way. You will find this group to be very supportive. Good luck and Happy New You!
  • I have my intake goal set and make sure I consume that amount. My exercise calories are burned from that. I like to see how much I take in and how much I'm working off.
  • I've lost 15 pounds and several inches. I've had mine for more than a year and it went out on me last week. I feel naked without it :). Luckily Body Media's customer service worked with me trying to get it restarted and when all failed will replace. I have found great customer service with Body Media and urge you to…
  • Just adding my 2 cents :) I'm a Jenny Craig Client, no I don't do every meal on Jenny, can't afford it and not practical all the time but I do have consultations weekly since it is provided. I too have had a problem where the scale just doesn't move but on the other hand I have lost some inches and have taken things up in…

  • Hello, That is a good sign that you will continue if you enjoy the exercise. Good luck and I think you will find a lot of support here in this group.
  • You've accomplished a lot already by loosing 88 lbs. Sounds like maybe also you don't have confidence in your doctor, maybe you should look for second opinion. I have knee problems and my doctor recommends swimming and cycling but I like step/dance aerobics so I modify some and continue on my way.
  • Good Morning and welcome Carol. I too hate to weigh. I'm not loosing much or any weight but I have been moving buttons over on my pants and moving the snaps on my bras from the first clasp to the last so I'm happy. I am a member of a gym so I can get measurements every month and it shows that I'm dropping inches. I know…
  • I never noticed this but just tried it, thanks for the info. Thanks Ladies!!! Kerry - my grandparents were from Italy and had a huge garden - the only fertilizer was from their dairy cows - their tomatoes were to die for - and we would can enough to make it through the winter for fresh sauce...I admire your…
  • I've had the body media band for just over a year and I've had great customer service with their email contact. Try that if the info is not on the faq page.

  • I have a body media arm band. I've used it for more than a year. Originally I purchased through Jenny Craig and receive a year free on the website, I now have self contract with their website so I can sync with MFP and found discount on the web. I get very good support with the body media. I can communicate through email…
  • when I purchased mine, I was told it could handle some moisture. I've gotten it pretty wet, haven't been in the pool but it is still registering my activity.
  • I had notice that my arm has a white band around where I wear the device but since I read your post I took a good look and by golly my left arm does look more toned than the right. I'm going to try the right also for a week or so to see if it makes any difference.
  • Good morning puzzlechick62. Welcome. I have the same problem as you, loose only to gain back. I am an emotional eater and go up and down. I am a on again off again Jenny Craig client. I mostly use JC breakfast and snacks to keep me on track.

  • Welcome. I'll be 58 in 6 days and just joined this group this week. You have come a long way. You seem to be very determine, that is good. I log my food and exercise everyday. I wear a bodymedia armband that I've synced with MFP. I let it register my activity and calories burned.
  • That's too funny :). When my stylist told me to read it she ask if I had a Kindle. She advised to load it there so no one would see it laying around the house. My husband doesn't know I read them. I would have died if my boys new I read them.
  • Welcome. I just recently joined also. Not real chatty. Log my food everyday but mostly do my board checking in the am. That may change with colder weather and less daylight.
  • Ok, don't laugh or judge me because my last reads certainly doesn't say who I am. I read all three Fifty Shades of Grey. There was so much buzz in the media and then my young hair stylist was talking about it and told me it was a good read. Believe it or not it was a love story between all the kinky stuff :). It didn't do…
  • WOW, I feel all of your frustration. It is so disappointing to weigh everyday. Down a pound one day and up two the next, especially when you have put so much work in watching/logging your food intake and trying to move as much as possible to get the metabolism pumping. Don't give up. I do weigh twice a week. It is so funny…
  • I wear mine proudly too but I do get lots of questions. I guess due to my age almost everyone thinks it is a heart monitor, too funny!
  • Thanks for the welcome.
