FTM. Been on T since July 2014 and had top surgery in November. I've started the Beach Body Body Beast program to try to build some muscle and plan to start training for my second half marathon in a few days. Feel free to add me. It would be nice to have some trans friends on here to help me stay motivated.

Hi, I just joined this group. I identify as genderqueer and am hoping to get top surgery eventually. I'd like to lose weight so that when I do get top surgery I will have the lean muscular boyish body I've always wanted. I'd love to find friends to keep me motivated and share exercise and food tips and offer support.

I ran the Manchester Road Race in Manchester, CT on Thanksgiving morning. It's 4.7 miles. I run slow so it was definitely over 30 minutes of exercise for me.

Throughout the week so far I have stayed under my calories. Today I plan to go to Panera which is definitely a major food vice. I'm planning on getting broccoli cheddar soup and a grilled cheese which according to Panera is 660 calories. Today I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes and burned a little over 300 calories and…

Last week was a discouraging week for me. It was the first time I gained in the 2 months that I've been back on MFP. This week my goal is to take off the weight I gained last week plus a little extra. Mondays are usually my days where I eat the worst food so I will probably plan a big workout Monday to burn off anything…

Due to a wrist injury and a swollen arm (recently got a tattoo) I wasn't able to do some of the exercises so instead of rolling the dice I just did the exercises I could do. I did wall sits for 60 seconds, then 60 crunches, and 60 squats. I'm trying to drink more water but unfortunately I did not drink half my body weight…

My goals for this week are to run more with my dog and to beat my previous 5k time this weekend at the race I'm running in.

My why....is that this is the mental challenge I need. I know this is about physical results and everyone is looking to lose weight but I think it's the mental part that is the biggest struggle. I want to stick with this challenge and know that I have put my best effort into it. I want something that I can be proud of. I…

Hello! I'm excited to start the challenges. My name is Chavela. I'm a 25 year old graduate student working full time and doing an internship so my life is incredibly busy. Anytime I try to go on new exercise or diet routines I usually end up losing about 10 lbs and then I give up. I hope to break that pattern with this…

I've been sick since last weekend so I haven't been able to run at all. I'm planning to go to the gym in a few minutes and hoping that this run won't be too difficult after going almost a week without running. There's an Apple Festival 5 mile run I want to do in October and in November I'm planning to run a race on…

I run 3-4 times a week and lift weights. I used to do Insanity but now I live in a 3rd floor apartment so I don't think my neighbors would appreciate me jumping around and making a ton of noise all the time. I did C25K a couple of years ago and completed Bridge to 10k this summer. I'm hoping that by next year at this time…

Hi, I'm Chavela. I'm a 25 year old graduate student studying Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a busy schedule between work, school, and internship but I'm really trying to find time to get exercise in and eat healthy. I completed Couch 2 5k a couple of years ago and did Bridge to 10k this summer and ran my first 10k in…
