I've been reading all of Camilla Lackberg's books; she writes great mysteries. I read one of her books and am now going back and reading all of them in order as the personal relationships build on each other. I love Robert B. Parker as well.

One thing I did that really helped me at the start of mfp is I sat down and wrote out a list of all the reasons I want to lose weight. I then summarized them all on recipe cards which I keep in my purse. Any time I feel like I'm weakening I look at the cards and it reminds me that those reasons are more important than…

My massage therapist recommened rollong my foot over a golf ball a couple of times a day. That cleared it up really quickly when nothing else had worked.

I weigh once a week. I prefer to see one good loss for the week rather than lots of little ones. Ocassionally I'll "cheat" and weigh once mid-week but I try really hard not to. I measure every 2 weeks.

Saffron extract (found at health food stores) is a great appetite suppressant and helps reduce cravings. Also, using MFP will help you to learn to make healthy choices. When I started I was shocked to realize that my breakfast of cereal and skim milk was almost 1/2 of my daily 1200 calories.
