uhm...who cares? BMI is arbitrary to say the least, there's cons as well as pro's. Body Fat % is the way to go IMO. So... healthy I would say

At 5'4, 107lbs is a bit too low don't u think? It's classed as underweight for your height I believe. Despite it being what you weighed 4-5 years ago, i'm assuming that your body just doesn't want to get that low. In that your set point has changed as you've aged through the years... If I were you I would focus on body…

How many calories were you eating to gain, and did you just recently cut back? Maybe your current craving is a way of your body telling you that it's not happy at your current way. Is this current weight what you were prior to anorexia, remember anything up until a 24.9 BMI is considered healthy. So take it in strides.…

the OP seems to have disappeared, you guys scared her off with talks of BDD and seeking a therapist. Hopefully she read through some of the other insightful comments.

I'm surprised this thread is still going!

Have you attempted to recalculate your TDEE and BMR since you've lost the 48lbs? (Congratulations by the way!) It is said that it's best that you recalculate every time you lose about 10% of body weight as the numbers change from your initial numbers. From recalculating that, particularly TDEE, you should get a higher…

can't agree more. It doesn't hurt if you keep them less frequent, maybe once a week/ or every other week. Or you can even fit them in your daily calorie allotment if you want as well.

^ it probably is, or could be a variety of things really>> water retention, T.O.M, ovulation, sodium intake, increased/new exercise routine etc I recall increasing my exercise intensity and having gone up in weight by a few pounds in a matter of two days. Finally took a rest day yesterday and despite eating around my…

Kudos for getting into a healthier routine and mindset! But I personally know what you're going through, and struggled with loosing the last 10 for quite sometime thinking I was a special snowflake eating at or just a tad bit below 1200. And let me tell you it certainly takes a toll on you, I've been maintaining as a…

I have to agree with everyone, it takes quite a bit of effort for me, maybe a 7 if I pace myself while running. But usually it's more like 70 mins ( tend to take breaks in between). This i think is merely due to my size, don't have much to loose and really near target, so that can definitely account for variations as some…

No idea why I would cut out my diary...no idea at all when trying to loose weight. But on a real not you should do a trial and error approach and see how that affects your results. Maybe two weeks if a full month isn't doable. I tried it for a few days but i gotta tell you I love my milk. Good luck!

I understand both sides, but it does getting annoying when people appear to struggle to get over 800+ calories. Be it quality foods or otherwise. But i get it if they're just starting out finding it difficult to eat a more clean approach compared to their prior consumption of high fat/high calorie foods. Also the…

Loool, i tell myself the same thing all the time!

I suffer from bouts of heartburn when my diet goes downhill. But i've learned to moderate my diet intake to mitigate any intense aches in my chest. My heartburn's quite manageable in that I kinda know what foods I should avoid on a general basis, but there are occasions where even with eating a banana my chest just burns.…

Occassionally, depends on the intensity of the run, I sometimes choke trying to get my throat to clear lool. But more often then notI totally forget until I have to rinse out my mouth once I wash my face after a long run. But I've gotten used to it and make sure to drink before and after a run, hate sipping on water…

Maybe try switching ur workouts to the morning, i think with the night routine of exercise might have you staying up and a little bit energized. Did you just recently start exercising at night? Over the past few months i've had restless nights as well, day routine has been a bit of a mess really. Try to break the routine…

Try doing something you enjoy doing. I'm 5'2 as well, and boy does it suck....sometimes haha. I love being short but the drive needs to come from you. Try writing out why you want to lose weight and how that may better your way in some way, a list for instance. And hang it somewhere as a reminder, be it for health,…

depends on what it is, if it's a cold/sore throat....then i would. If it's a headache, stomache pain, nausea then no. Take a break, our body is a temple, it needs to be treated as such. You'll perform better if you do, and you'll recover faster Good luck!
