Like everyoones mentioned clean eating is hard to define, but what I think what you're trying to get at is a way to lose weight without necessarily counting every calorie. I think with a few simple rules, since you're a bit more aware of the calorie content in foods you can find a balance...portion control and recognizing…

Hey fellow 5:2er! Glad to hear that you just started out and embarking on a new eating regime such as IF. Like what many have suggested it may take a while for your body to catch up with your new eating routine particularly if you`ve also just started exercising as well. One thing I might suggest, is try sticking to your…

Love it! A series of events led to one step in the right direction. You`re awesome, and keep it up!

It`s one week, i`m sure you`ll do fine. Exercise is not meant to compensate your eating but rather be a source of maintaining or improving your cardiovascular health and overall well-being. With that said you could still lose weight with limited to no exercise. As long as you stay within your recommended calories for…

Just brush of and start fresh tomorrow. I ate 3000kcal on Saturday and Sunday, and definitely not beating myself up for it. A slip up here or there won`t hurt in the long run, as long as you get back on the wagon and remind yourself of your intentions and the benefits of sustaining a healthier lifestyle. Now, go for a run.…

This is exactly my list!

I`m 5`2 and currently 119lbs ( +- 1). I`ve firmed up quite a bit with my running and am just looking to lean out just a tad bit more. Ultimately goal is to be around 110 but would be happy with anything in between 110-115, however might reassess once I hit that range. I have a medium build, pear shaped and love my curves.…

I think you should stop weighing yourself. Clearly you have no explanation as to why you`ve temporarily gained weight....cuz that`s what it is temporary.
-
Aaaww this is just too cute for words!!. Congratulations on meeting your goals. You look just fabulous in your dress. Have fun with your hubby...he`ll just fall over. Work it girl!
-
You probably don`t want to hear this but...you`re not eating enough. If you provide some stats ( weight, height, gw, and exercise level) we might guide you in the direction as to what might be the appropriate amount for you.

If you`re not much into increasing food-wise, be it out of fear or just out of habit, since it seems like you`ve been dieting for a while ( kudos by the way), have you thought of maybe doing some protein shakes You can really pack in all sorts of nutrients if you`re really not able to eat more. For instance, a banana, full…

The only greens that go in my smoothies from time to time is spinach. They have no taste at all, usually throw them in with a banana and whatever berries I have in hand with a splash of milk. I'm a creature of habit so I tend not to go crazy when it comes to my smoothies lol

From what I understand the body might hit a few plateaus after a 10% loss of body weight. So maybe your body is just re-calibrating itself before letting go once again and hence the stall. This is just my theory lol. I would take everyone's suggestions in consideration and just take it one day at a time. Kudos for loosing…

I think it would be best if you spoke to your doctor. From what I understand, your body naturally burns a bit more given that it's producing milk for your newborn. Given that, I doubt calorie calculators can adequately reflect what is needed for those breast-feeding. Just saw your second post. It seems like an adequate…

BMR is basically the amount your body needs to sustain itself whereas TDEE takes into account your activity level. So I'm assuming you selected the moderate/light option to get that TDEE. If that's the case then subtract 10% or 20% from that depending on how agressive you want to be in attaining a weekly goal. The rule of…

I think she needs a bit more than 1500 tbh. More like 1800, minimum is to eat your BMR...more sustainable

I was at your weight about a month a half ago so I know what you're going through. Personally I found given that we have less to lose and are small are TDEE is more in the 1800-1900 ballmark. I exercise 4-5x a week, running on average 20 miles. Personally I try to stick to anything between 1200-1500, I practise…

^ Loool. Really OP, hop of the scales, it's only been a week. How much more were you expecting to loose in a month, 11 lbs in incredible Weight loss is not linear, so one should not expect a loss every week. Take a breath, and continue what you're doing. Kudos thus far
-
Lool, totally see your point. OP with increased mileage, especially running, one can easily suppress their appetite. However some also do report an uncontrollable sense of hunger. Either way I suggest as mentioned earlier take to including healthy fats contained in olive oil ( 2 tsp = 80kcals), nut butters, and full fat…

just probably ignorant folks that are unaware of the awesome protein power of lentils and beans and other veggies lol. You can either educate them or let them hate, lol. I love my veggies and the occasional chicken

If your "metabolism" burns 1600 which I assume you mean your TDEE for being sedentary, then I think you should aim to eat that much and try to get the majority of your deficit from your exercise. Since you burn 600-700 just by working out, no harm in eating that number, satisfy your bodies need for fuel and wait it out. At…

I think they're fine as well, but mine aren't exactly zero calories...more like 100kcal for a pack of 240g I think. I throw in tons of vegetables, chicken breast pieces and seasoning and I barely taste the noodles in my stir-fry. There's nothing with leaving them in the fridge in the water that it's contained in. I portion…

I agree with everyone, you've done a fantastic job so far. So it seems like you're doing everything right. But losing weight when smaller is a bit harder especially when we all have an appetite like those taller than us. But with hard work and a bit of persistence we can all attain our individual goals
-
loool. Yum, talk about delish if the abs came with them ;)

I used to be an everyday weigh-er as well and with not much to loose it was a bit frustrating. Even though I would hide my scale the night prior, I would still find myself on the scale despite my efforts lol. So what I've done to mentally trick myself from weighing was drinking a glass of water/milk/tea before stepping…

whatever suits your lifestyle, personally i'd go all in, which i'm doing at the moment. I have about 10lbs before I reassess and I've been losing quite regularly as of late, maybe .5lb-1lb a week. If you feel like you can sustain a 20% reduction in calories long-term then go for it, if you're afraid that you might gain it…
-
From what I understand those using the TDEE method have adjusted the MFP settings to reflect that. You can do this by just customizing your goals and input that number, which I think is what people might have been doing with the TDEE method. What I have done was personalize my settings on my account. So I haven't put in a…

I do the exact same thing, it's become a habit especially since I used to stay up all night trying to finish papers and/or study. It's interesting the way one can train their body. However as of late I've attempted myself to stop eating at 9 or so given my heart-burn problems lol, i've managed to stop snacking at about…

^THIS, seriously I can't believe he gave you a Diet Dr. Pepper...you know what that ish does to you right. It's like a ticking time bomb lol
