I am 5'3 and weight 295lbs.. I ride horses as well, but am into Dressage and will jump when I lose a huge amount of weight. I eat 1250-1550 calories. This depends on my exercise habit that week. Slow and steady girl. I am 5'3 and you see how much I have to lose and the weight I have lost has taken close to 1 year to get off. :) I should be the one complaining about not losing it fast enough LOL and I workout 6 days a week and 1 day rest :P

They say you are more accountable to what you eat when you weight yourself every morning :). I do this and sometimes its amazing to see it go down and makes me look and watch what I am eating better when the number goes up!!

I eat fast food and my ticker shows were my progress has been going. I don't get the meals, I just get like Mcdonald's grilled onion cheddar burger or a wrap with tons a veggies. I understand some fast food is HORRIBLE for you with all the HUGE amounts of fat and calories.. But some of it can be fit into a lifestyle change…

Water helps suppress my cravings for the need to FEED :) LOL When I feel hungry, I make sure to drink about 2 glasses of water and see if it was thirst or truly hunger at the moment that was needed.

I log everything that hits my mouth or try to log it before it even hits my mouth. So say I am going out with friends and we are going to eat at Olive Garden. I menu surf on MFP to see what is going to keep me in my calories and keep me losing weight :). It is all about Calories In and Calories Out.

I use to eat 1200 and think that was the max I could eat and if I went over it at all I would have a little panic attack. I now do not have that issue as I forced myself to eat 1800 calories for a few months and lost about 15lbs. Now my amount is down around 1510 as that is what MFP is saying I need along with exercise…

I believe as long as you eat about 50% of your added calories from exercise, you will be perfectly fine. Don't force yourself to eat as you will get sick :). Slow and steady

I do garlic, seasonings (whatever you like) 1 tablespoon of mayo and then eat with crackers. SO NOM!!

Well I shoveled snow the whole time for 1 hour and my armband said I burned about 500 calories or a little more. But I am female and bigger in the weight department so it would be less for you in what you burn an hour or so.

I normally swap between a bowl of organic pumpkin flax raisin cereal with 1/2 cup of Organic 2% milk or have 1 egg with a 1/2 cup of irish steel cut oats or have a very fruit and veggie packed protein smoothie :)
