I have panhypopituitarism and Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency for about two years. I am actively working on losing weight. The last nine weeks I have lost 14 pounds. I try to eat protein with vegetables or fruit to keep me full. I stay within my calories and log everything. A food scale can help with accurate food portions…

I have secondary adrenal insufficiency and panhypopituitarism. I replace more than just cortisol. I have been diligently logging here for the last couple of months. I have managed to lose 14 pounds in the last nine weeks. Sounds like you have had quite a bit of success in losing weight! Congratulations!

You should probably eat something or have a glass of milk. Being hungry can keep you up and disturb your sleep. Maybe you have too high of a calorie deficit?

You may want to get your T3 levels checked. Some of us have a hard time converting T4 to T3. I take Synthroid and Cytomel (along with a lot of other meds for panhypopituitarism). Taking T3 gives me a lot more energy (increase in metabolism). Without it I am bound to bed. If your hormone levels are off, I it does make…

You want to request a full thyroid panel.

I tried a recipe for unstuffed Cabbage Rolls last week. A little different than the recipe you posted. My kids loved it. It was an inexpensive and quick recipe! :)

I was raw vegan for a few years. I was hoping that my pituitary tumor that I had partially removed ( the other part was inoperable) would not grow back. I read a lot regarding the diet and a lot of the health claims about reversing disease. I was very strict in my diet. The tumor grew back. Certain conditions cannot be…

It could be something hormonal. Get checked by your doctor.

I have panhypopituitarism (adrenal insufficiency, adult growth hormone deficiency, etc.) and take hydrocortisone and a lot of other meds daily. I have lost 19 pounds since last July. I have a lot more weight to lose to reach my goal. I am happy to see the successes of others on this thread! I have set my goals to have a 2…

Yesterday I did: Eat healthy foods that I have prepared at home. o:) Drink at least 80 oz of water (drinking enough water on weekends seems to be a challenge for me). o:) Complete at least 30 minutes of cardio exercise. (I completed even more!) o:) Just for today: Not binge on sweets when I visit my parents. Drink at least…

@astyxx I also have panhypopituitarism and take a lot of medication to compensate. Have you been tested for growth hormone deficiency? Being growth hormone deficient can cause issues with change of lean body mass to fat deposits. I know you posted this a while ago, but just saw it today.

I'm in the fresh start category, too. I was doing so great a few months ago with logging my food and going to the gym and lifting on a regular basis and doing cardio. I had a 10% increase in my strength. Then I didn't feel well and stopped everything! And just like that 6 months months later, I am 12 pounds heavier. I was…

I would like to lose 2 pounds a week consistently to be able to go skydiving with my son for his 18th birthday. I have a goal to eat homemade meals to help with weight loss and to make my bank account fat. The extra money that would go toward eating out will be used for a family vacation in October! NSV's: my jeans are…

Over the last 24 hours there has been so much talk about depression and suicide. It feels like a wound being picked at for me. My ex-husband committed suicide last December. I have cried daily and feel deeply the loss of him in my life. I understand why he did what he did. The years we were married was peppered with a lot…

Have you had your cortisol levels checked? Low blood pressure and salt cravings can be a sign of Addison's disease.
