I found yoga helpful. There are specific poses that are supposed to promote fertility. I'm not sure if they actually worked, but yoga did help me relax. And I believe the relaxation played an important part. I'm 39 and conceived after 5 months of trying; 3 months after starting yoga and loosing 20 pounds.

Congratulations. For now, just try to eat a well balanced diet. As you progress it will be important to get higher levels of protein and calcium.

My midwife suggested eating your normal calorie count for the first 12-14 weeks. And after that, add another 200-300 calories per day.

I didn't like thebump either. I like MFP. I also like babyandbump.com. But I hope we can make this a helpful and positive group for everyone.
