I am under the understanding that you need to eat at least 1200 calories each day or your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose weight. I know it's hard, but try to eat 1200 calories and continue to work out as usual. The HRM will help, but you have to eat enough food for your body to sustain your workouts.…

I think the weather may have something to do with it? Mine just started doing it this week. I weigh myself first thing in the morning after potty and at night before I take a shower. The batteries might be chilled, or my scales might be tired of me standing on it, LOL!
