Good advice, I use solid heel lifting shoes for squats and go shoeless or use flats (converse Chucks) for deadlifts. I also need to allow more recovery time if going over 70% of my 1RM max for reps. All great advice and I would include adequate recovery time between heavy loads. I need more time for healing especially if going 70% or above of my 1RM.
