This is how I know I'm just bored, because if I was really hungry I would just eat whatever was there. Having said that, I do hate eating things that I don't like because I feel like I'm wasting my calories.

"I lived in London for a year. You can." (dunno how to quote, sorry) Suppose you can find this sort of stuff anywhere. I'm from Manchester originally, the stuff there can be pretty bad though I don't think it comes close to this. Certainly puts me off eating out, anyway.

I'm in the UK so I couldn't get hold of stuff that is that bad for me even if I wanted to (I'm probably lucky I've never tasted it so I don't want it). But I shudder to think just how much fat and cals are in some of the takeout things that are sold right on my street.

You can get low fat hummus which doesn't have as much oil in it, but really you don't need much to fill you up so it doesn't make too much difference other than in the taste. I eat it with a pitta bread and lots of cucumber, totally covered in paprika, yum.

I could go either way on this one. One the one hand, if I just think about the food that I want I definately want it more. But I have found that actually imagining for just a moment or two, actually eating it bite for bite does make the craving subside. I doubt it would work in all cases though, it's just something I've…
