  • I'm in!!! I'll send you a request as well, any others would like to friend me, please feel free. I am now going on 7 months single after a 6 year relationship and am not having the best of luck. But this will be fun. In fact this is one of the reasons I joined .
  • Thank you all. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens when I get closer to my target weight, I have a long way to go. In High school i was 120, and my first year of college I went up to 130. But I felt that was too skinny for me. The BMI says 118-159. So I'll work hard to get down there and see how I feel from…
  • I hear you there, I found that to be my downfall this past year, with working two jobs and hardly ever sleeping and then learning how to live single again it was easier to eat fast food and junk food. So here I am and feeling much better about life and eating better for the most part. Feel free to add me as a friend if you…
  • Thank you all I think I will have to go get me one this weekend.
  • Hi! I am glad that you are enjoying the site! I joined early January and I have lost a little over 5 pounds. It feels great! Honestly it would feel better if I hadn't gained 10 pounds over the holiday season. I am glad to have found others who share the same goal as me, getting back into shape and loosing weight! If you…

  • I've been thinking the same thing, as I've heard that the amount of calories people burn are different, and I wonder if the heart rate monitor might help me be more accurate. I would like to hear more about them as well, if anyone has any insight
  • I don't try to reach the goal. I am conscious of what I eat, and eat my meals throughout the day. If at the end of the day I feel at all hungry I will try to eat something else, however I generally don't try to meet them. As long as I feel satisfied hunger wise I am not too worried, mostly because i burn a lot off
  • I feel the same way with my family. Unfortunately the women in my family are all overweight. And my mother and sister, who I am closest too lost a lot of weight at one point and then put it back on. I've talked to them about my weightloss and get the response of its not worth it or it won't work. Occasionally I get the…
  • Trust me, my first day of doing it, I thought I was gonna die for a day after, almost two, but I did the work out again pushed through the pain, it felt better to stretch it out. I honestly still can't do all the push ups she has you do, but i am working at it. I have a bad left wrist, I messed up falling off a crate of…
  • I love it! I put it under calistenics..wasn't sure what to put it under, I read other's posts on the net and they put it under calistenics. It's quite the work out, I am on day 5 of it, and with eating better and my walking I've lost 4 pounds...

  • I have to agree with you here, it is great to feel and see instant results, I even lost an inch in my midsection! Although I know it won't last its been a great motivator to keep going. Keep up the good work. I keep telling myself it will be better in the end and worth it
  • I've only been at this for a few days, in fact I am starting day 3. I am finding the support encouraging and glad that there are others out there willing to support each other. I know it won't be easy and I am bound to hit low peaks aong the way. I am planning to stay with this, hoping and knowing I can. You can do this,…

  • I've actually started taking steps. And you're right my goal is to gte on track and in the mean time to get back to a healthier weight. I actually prepped my lunches and dinners for work and put them in the fridge, so I can grab and go. The dog and I take longer walks every day and while I don't go to the gym I have…
  • Ok so I love that you posted this, I have been wondering about healthier snacks, especially sitting here at work all night....I like apple slices with either peanut butter or a small piece of sharp chedder cheese. I also got some 100 calorie packs of popcorn to try too
  • Hi Amanda and everyone else who has posted. I too am new to this, I have reached a high in my weight and found myself very unhappy with my body and self. My biggest problem is being motivated, as its just me and my dog, who walks with me everyday and has gained a bit too much weight too. My best friend told me about this…
