  • I would never tattoo my significant other's name on myself...Thought about it once, and am so glad I ddin't. Symbols are great, but like others have said tattoos are permanent...not people. I did get a Celtic cross with my grandfather's initials on my arm as he meant the world to me. The only other names on my tattoos are…
  • Thanks! Makes me feel better. I will definitly look into adding a protien shake, I will have to find some recipies. I think if I ate a better breakfast thatou would help. I love living literally within a National park, I have so many things to do outdoors all year around, the hiking is my favorite
  • Me...2 years now...finally ready to settle down again though
  • I will look at doing some of those, of course after I can move my shoulder again, thank you so much. I have stopped with the PT, haven't done it since I moved out here...I didn't feel that it was doing anything for me, granted I stopped with my workouts at this time...I generally can do most moves with it, just not any…
  • I haven't done the PT in a while, it really didn't seem to be helping them either way, and I guess in my mind it wasn't going to fix it, it'll still be separated
  • Thank you for sharing that, I have been having minor freak outs, the scale is not moving downward, and on average days off I am burrning between 600-700 calories, the scale went up 3 pounds and hasn't moved. I will ensure I eat them back.
  • You look great, keep up the hard work
  • Nice to meet you, I find myself in a similiar boat, I came back ofter a long sabitical and have a few very loyal friends, but many I haven't heard from, we're all here to help one another out...sending a friend request
  • Hi, nice to meet you! I haven't been at it that long either but find myself also being less motivated....IFeel free to add me, we could all use support
  • Hi! As you will find, many of us on here have struggled with the wonderful thing of weight loss. I can admit, I have lost that struggle everytime. I start to make progress, some little traumatic thing happens, life changes and boom fall off the wagon again and again. The problem I have found with diets is that you have to…
  • I told myself this afternoon when I got up that I should do a quick work out, but told myself no, I had all intentions of using the gym tonight, that was until, I forgot my lunch and have a snall salad to get me throught the night.....I don't think I have even come close to 1200.
  • Thank you all. I have decided that working out tonight will not be in my best interest, as I don't want to starve myself. I will get some protien shakes and make sure I bring them with me, I am sure that will help
  • I generally do too. For some reason on graves I only seem to eat twice, when I wake up, and then towards the middle/end of my shift, and an occasional snack here and there. I don't know what the difference is, maybe because I go home and go straight to bed, where is when I am on day shift I come home dink around a little…
  • So my dilema is kind of the opposite, I am on a night shift, right now I can say I am liking it. But I find myself getting up more during the middle of the day and wanting to eat something, anything. I just want to grab something quick, and go right back to bed. I seem to get up every couple hours or so. Part of it is the…
  • Thanks that would be great, I try to do better I think when I start working nights again things will be better...less opportunities to go out to eat
  • You are doing great!!! Keep it up and the rest will come with time. You look great as well. I personally have had a huge setback in my weightloss. Personally I am amazed I have dropped as much as I have with my setback. So keep up the good work, you will get there and before you know it, you will have lost it
  • I have yet to do that video, when doing her 30 day shred level 2 with my hrm I burn 300-400 calories. I plan to try it tomorrow, i will let you know
  • I hope that you get over the cold rapidly. I currently and fighting a cough and a bit of a cold, makes it hard to work out, everytime I do my cough gets worse. I would try some emergen-c. I love that stuff! And continue eating healthy, and get plenty of sleep, when your body sleeps it heals itself.
  • Thanks for posting this! It was great information on how the body looses
  • Kate, welcome. Glad you joined, this site is great for finding answers and getting motivation from friends from all over in the world. I am sorry about feeling sick to your stomach. I have learned that you should eat about 6 times a day. Doing this keeps your metabolism running, when your metabolism slows down your body…
  • I put it under circut training, and change my calories according to the HRM. I generally do it three days a week, the rest of the week I do the eliptical or other workouts. I recently got her 6 pack abs and plan on trying that here soon
  • welcome to the site! I have found MFP to be the most helpful with motivation and keeping a food and exercise diary. It shows me how many calories i've consumed, burned and how much I need to catch up...I can understand the busy schedules it is the hardest thing. I work nights on the weekdays and go back to a normal…
  • I agree with everyone. Have you been eating the calories you are allowed a day. And when you work out be sure to eat back the calories you have burned. I was at a stand still for quite some time, and then began eating back what I had burned, becuase I woulnd't have have began loosing agian

  • No. exercise does not cause this, I had some for the first time about a year ago, and omg they were the most painful thing... the worst part about them was that most got passed while I was at work on a graveyard shift alone. I thought I was gonna die the next morning. When i went to the Dr. he told me they though that too…
  • Hi. So first I must say I am glad that you have sat down and thought this through. May I suggest adopting a puppy from a shelter. Shelter dogs are the best. Anyway. My ex and I adopted a dog in March of 07. Both he and I worked full time jobs and I went to school. Most of the time with my rotating schedules someone was…
