Yesterday I made pumpkin muffins. This morning before work I folded two loads of clothes. When I get home, after making supper. I will be scrubbing my counter tops & stove top, then vacuum and mop the entire house (this usually takes me almost an hour because I'm so picky).

I don't go to the gym, I go walk around an outdoor road/trail, but being as I go on my lunch it keeps me going. Too, the other admin goes to the gym daily to train with a body builder & all of the agents know that I go out to the trail. Them asking me if I walked/ran today or if it's nice or bad weather keeps me going.

There are several songs on my ipod that push me really hard while I'm working out that in the normal realm of things, I would NEVER listen to!!! My favorite is "I'm sexy and I know it", although it's on the radio. There's one song (and forgive me, someone gave me their workout cd & I just put it on my ipod with no clue)…

Jogging, definitely! I'm not making it too far yet, but I have the desire & drive! I am so jealous of those of you have listed kayaking. I have always thought it looked fun, but I have the weakest arms around so I'm always scared to try. I also say if I could paddle with my legs or hips, I'd be set! :laugh:

I need to get back in the habit of walking our dogs. We have 2 German Shepherds & 2 English Bulldogs. If we walk the bulldogs, we can only make about 1/2 mile before her breathing gets out of control. I swear, I'm going to get her a portable oxygen tank! I turned 40 in July and it seems within one month had put on almost 10 pounds and now, it's being pretty resistant to departure. I had heard about metabolism stopping over night, but really!!??

My husband had some problems with his shoulder/back this spring. His PT told him that man is not meant to run unless he is chasing his dinner or being chased for dinner! He recommended either walking or elliptical, but did not recommend running for anyone!
